i don't have a kusari RP, so i cant do it, but PLEASE! do this for me

i always see furry RPs out there. ill tell you. most of them are utter garbage. A true furry would not survive amongst humankind if they blatantly showed off their ughhhh, physique.

Mr. kibbles, my furry RP, doesn't RP being a furry. im a furry in hiding trying to live my life, away from all cryer folk when i can. hes a paranoid guy who continues to fear and avoid persecution.

anywho, there are plenty of blatant furries out there. here is the solution



get a kusari (dog/cat eater!) chef or slaughterer or whatever, and place a bounty to capture these furries in order to sell them as luxury foods. who said furries aren't tastey?

bounty collection needs evidence that the target is a furry (open transmission with cat ears, RP[Rubs furry tail*] or the equivalent)

Unless it's against the rules, I don't think that anyone can tell them that it's not viable role play. That said, I'm not a fan of it. But I'm not a fan of a lot of other role play characters and stories that I read.

But you know what I do? I ignore them. However, your idea/solution sounds frackin' hilarious. If I ever hang out in Kusari (I never do) I might try that. Hmm... canned cat-thing.

I'm not sure it can be solved. The disgusting side of furry-dom pushed aside, what's left is open to far too much... nonsense. Especially in Freelancer, in which hybrid creatures are not the norm, nor was there any indication they could be. If it were one or two, sure. If they were sort of reclusive or were beat up often when they tried to get past it, sure. People get irked, one way or the other, either because they simply exist, or because they make even less sense once they do; they should hardly be accustomed to society, and in the event they were "converted" from normal people, I'd like to think they'd be too preoccupied with the "Holy Crap, what just happened" part. I've toyed with the idea of making such a character, but then I stop and wonder what's the point? What could he possibly do that would be of any long-standing interest? I already have a Freelancer, and he rocks so hard that I would never need another one. What's left?

I got into an entire debate over this with Nath (foofighter). I told him to quit harassing and discriminating against the 'furry' RP's going around disco and to just leave well enough alone. These RP's and their characters were not effecting him directly, he had absolutely no reason to pursue them with fire like he did, yet he kept on pursuing. Unfortunately it's people like him that have defined the human race for so long - burn what you fear, and cling to the meager things you love like they're actually important to anyone else but you. Unfortunately for defending the few players around here that wanted to try something different, I got kicked out of his faction for "sympathizing with the 'enemy'" and calling him out for his behavior.

I'll tell you the same thing I told him, consequences be damned: If it doesnt directly impact your character or your ability to enjoy this server, then leave it the hell alone. You have no more right to discriminate against these players than you do against a black person for being black, or a woman for being a woman, or even a lolwutter for being a lolwutter. If it doesnt effect you, dont get involved - and even if it does, find a way to handle it without ruining this place for the other player.

You misunderstand what I meant. Sure people can RP furries (provided they do it well), but surely everyone would agree that furries flying spaceships is not the normal thing.

Is disco set in the freelancer universe? Yes it is. How many furries do you see flying spaceships in freelancer? None. Therefore furries flying spaceships is not normal. I didn't say people couldn't RP as furries; it seems you also misunderstood me.
