Sirs, Began a patrol today, met up with sargeant Daniel Dusentrieb at west point, we moved into California where we spotted a trader who was headed to the Virginia Jump hole.

We Told him to stop but he refused, the sarj' put the call in to the navy though and i think he has some guncam evidence. After that we had a bit more of a patrol round the cali lanes we kept getting scans of an unkown vessel scattered about but thought nothing of it. we then headed off to ontario.

We headed to the colorado Jump hole to look for smugglers, we found the vessel previously popping up on the scans at the hole, so we pursued it into colorado, then through to New york. Upon entering New york I requested that the ship stopped as visual indications showed a pirate transport which are illegal. Which he ignored.

He flew toward the star in New York where he used the Corona as a Defence against me, i got a scan of him hauling Cardamine. I requested he Dropped it, he then started counting down from ten and eventually engaged me, I let rip with a few screamer mines and tore his shield down, i then fired a barrage of missles at his ship destroying most of his hardpoints. left with only his shield intact he started to cruise away through the suns corona, unfortunately for him his ship was already badly damaged and the suns radiation proved too much and he subsequently roasted him and his cargo.

Good day Gents,

Started my Patrol out of Manhattan, went through to Cali, nothing of importance to report.

Moved on to Ontario, and through into Colorado through the jump hole to check for smugglers. While waiting near the Jump hole in colorado, I noticed a ship drop out of the Planet Denver to New York Jump gate lane at an unusual grid reference using the Tlagsnet , a couple of minutes later A Pod Ejection Signal went out from the said ship, so I headed to the direction of its last known whereabouts.

Upon arrival at the scene I found a Lone Rogue Bomber, I noticed he had been quite busy attacking a lot of transports on that lane, and he Had a hold full of Pilots, i Requested he dropped them and leave, of course he declined. I Engaged him Saying he had caused enough pain today. I was Giving his hull a battering with my missles and decided I would give him a chance to surrender himself but he declined the offer. So i Let rip with another volley of missles and Ripped open his bargheast like a Shotgun to a Tin'a'beans.

The following contains reports of notable incidents arising from the last series of patrols by LPI-Virgil.Samms routine operations resulting in no action are omitted for brevity.

P1. Lane Hacker ship flagged Mukiwa sighted near Manhattan, challenged, chased and removed. Part of engagement (CD support) with LN-Kim Brown, LNS Ravanger, Sifo Dyas and Las Vagas and NG Storm Assault 13.

Outcast N724C-"Exspes" challenged entering New York, no sensible dialogue and fled into badlands.

StaticX refused to stop after routine cargo scan request. Tried to run but was halted and searched, no problems found but also no communications established. Assumed comms failure. Back-up provided by Tempeny Overeem.

P2. Mr Mumpitz failed to stop, partial scan revealed contraband however was unable to intercept, craft escaped from system.

Blood Diamond "gifts" encountered, "temporary certificate" granted, please see previous report.

Off. J.Hedley noted, no strange behaviour apparent.

Arhur Griffin appeared to be carrying Nomads but at extreme scan, fled with no response to comms, evaded chase.

Intercepted .:: PL ::.Sulo trying to sell coded weapons in mid-space to VR-Abby Braddock. Communication turned ugly as VR assumed he was being set up, in fact it was just a routine patrol encounter. VR fled as LN Christopher Hood appeared. PL faded away as I was dealing with VR. Did reappear on systems comms trying to sell codes, again warned about weapons dealing.

Theordor Benedetto was challenged as to why so close to Manhattan, informed me he was a hacker lawyer and was going to arrest me and take me for trial at Manhattan. Interesting conversation ensued giving the impression that the pilot may have been under the influence. Tried to escort to Manhattan but he was joined by Outcast Bordetella. Engagement ensued with backup arriving from LSF Johnny Leroy and Randy Roden and Erik Tevinsil. Benedetto was eventually tamed by LSF fire, with Bordetella escaping in the melee.

P3. Darth Satanus and apparently new criminal was found wandering too close to Manhattan. Eventually he shed some escape pods and was allowed to leave the system, warned that if he reappeared it would be instant arrest. LSF Anna Brown and Sharon Valerie in attendance, then a brief joint patrol before they headed to the Omicrons for security duties. Before leaving they asked for any information on VultureSam if encountered (was not encountered) and asked for Brooth and Verticalius to be reported to senior officers for entering restricted space and opening fire (Verticalius), please take this report as that passing to seniors.

P4. James Wallace Denoon refused to stop near West Point and darted into TL, from comm chatter around Manhattan I inferred the reason for this was illegal cargo. Rescanned later and was clean.
DSE-FalconRJ randomly fired on .j. Gunner Kelly who requested to be allowed to return fire, managed to suggest that this was not a good idea and both parties flew in separate directions, although comms were abrasive between them.

P5. Patrol with LPI-D.Dusentrieb A wider ranging patrol as I was shown the route to Red deer Station and the Colorado/Ontario JH. A number of generic calls regarding unlawful activity were received but none turned into hard contacts.
Rhineland Behemoth Extreme Greed intercepted just exiting Cortex/California JG with 2999 Cardamine in cargo. Cardimine was destryed, S.Dusentrieb fined the pilot, pilot was warned and turned back out of Liberty space.
Mr Mumpitz acting suspiciously at trade lane was moved on.

Although not witness to the DSE being blown up I was patrolling that area ~ 30 minutes previously and had the following interesting engagement with DSE)B-25.Mitchell a DSE bomber, parked at Baltimore.

As a recruit I obviously cannot speak for LPI or Liberty but pass this information up the chain. in the hope it may shed light on the DSE post. Fryums, a navy vessel was also at station.

Hello Mister Samms,

thank you for contributing to the latest DSE incident. This is quite interesting and fitting to the other reports.

Regarding this line of the DSE employee:
DSE)B-25.Mitchell "IC, who has no license to ship them in Liberty" "Good one smartarse"

It looks like he confused Liberty Law with Rheinland Law. There are no restrictions in hauling military vehicles within Liberty.

The only restrictions regarding military vehicles are to be found at the Liberty Trade Embargo.
To sum it up in short:
- No military vehicles may leave the Liberty borders to Rheinland space, there are no excemptions
- No military vehicles may be imported from Rheinland to Liberty, there are no excemptions

As this vessel was not coming from Rheinland, you can except it was going to Planet Houston, where well known importeurs have their office to directly distribute them to the front lines. If you are in doubt, just track a vessel. My experience is that they are never moving to Bering or Hudson.

Hello dear colleagues,

please have a look at your inbox you should have received this transmission.
Please take a close look at the material provided, I need your help to question the wittnesses.

Please keep your eyes open and also watch your tracker. If you happen to see one of the wittnesses please try to get a testimony from them.

I have prepared a possible questionary for you:
1. Have you seen any conversation between Gwenn and Choleriker prior to the incident? (even if it happened days ago)
2. Have you seen any provocative behaviour by Nuuskamuikkunen prior to the incident?
3. Have you seen any erratic behaviour by Gwenn and Choleriker before?
4. Have you seen rockets fired at Nuuskamuikkunen by Gwenn and/or Choleriker?
5. If 4. applies, how did Nuuskamuikkunen react in detail? For example, did he try to flee from the scene, did he call for backup and so on

If you encounter one of the two suspects, please demand a testimony regarding the incident and the events that could have let to this.

It is mandatory to take visual evidence of your conversation captured by your blackbox (//screenshots of the interesting messages). Please do also ask for any evidence they could have related to the incident.

The purpose of this investigation is to collect enough material to send a solid recommendation to the Navy command to decide how to deal with Gwenn and Choleriker according to our findings.

P1 Large influx of unlawfuls around Manhattan including - Inorance.is.Bliss, HF Marcus.Sera, Wilson.Carse, Veri'Gyr RHC-Thanatos and Gasper Corte-Real tangled with LN-LNS Durango, Bostic, Lake_Michigan, MM-Sebastian,Rodriguez, Tavish.Degroot, sergey1 and Mardig. Numerous damage inflicted, encounter difted apart and skies cleared.

P2 Junkers - vessel Dirty_Harry causing troble, used NY jh when challenged, LNS-Megalith in support. Adan in attendance, motives unknown. 8757NC-"Exspes" , pirating, Shipyards and The_Vendetta in vicinity, moved off when approached and challenged, accompanied by LNS-Lucia.Defmir and David.Hale, Geoorge.Lawson, Tamara. Johansen and ConnEx.

P3 Keepers.Anunaki spotted dropping out of trade lane at Fort Bush, challenged then pursued with a number of navy and FL's joining ibn, it eventually escaped via Magellan. Outcast Havox around Mahattan, challenged and not very forthcoming. Ample support i vicinity, left with little altercation. Scutcher in area, mildly insulting to lawfuls, possible future threat. Later Havox and navy vessel Cholerika seen off tradelane in cloase proximity, unknown reason. Havox chased by LPI-Larry.Kay, me as assistance, no intervention either way by navy vessel.

P4 Council vessels Lectoure, Cosette-Bonnet, Anton.Smiard and Pierre.LaFlamme escorted to various liberty systems/locations by USI-Yorktowne, Glenbrook, and M.Sevyn, and at time K.James, goodwill pre-trading mission. Mayday from IC]Columbus in Pensylvania, under attack from Thomas.Krieger who refused to break off. Attacked by myself and the IC, joined by LNS-Remtos and ultimately dispatched by the IC vessel.

P5 James.Hedley warned about Nomad items in hole, disposed of at Newark, tends towards abrasive comms. Ishikawa01 also relieved of Nomad material, vapourised in space. Rheinlander spotted in Military craft, Emi-Kai, presumed spying. Fled when challnged out of Liberty space via Texas, unable to stop, assisted bt Mike.Coleman and C.J.Edwards.

P6 Acheron refused to stop and fled, fringe scanning indicated possible Black Market materials, but inconlusive. Dred.Red causing trouble, ran out of town with George.Patton and LNS-Liberator. 8757NC-"Exspes" returned and after prievious dealings was instantly challenged and left, support provided by LNS-Enterprise, again warned that a further sighting of his vessel would bmeet deadly force. Luxury Liner Cape.May spotted with cardamine and artefacts. Researcher running the vessel claimed he had ability to contain and was acceptable. As a LNS was already on station, near Newark, I accepted the position but informed captain I would be seeking clarification of the legality of his position. Johnny.Ringo turned over some captured Rogue pilots.

P7 Large contingent of unlawfuls again closed on Manhattan, protagonists and suspectedl protagonists in the ensuing melee were HF-Jason.Hughes, Jack.Warren, Theta1, Scott.Mitchell and Predator, XA- Denton Zak Cornell and Lachesis, and Baby, Ignorance is Bliss, Kimmler and Drax.Grimsby (unknown input) and met by a reasonably smallish force that eventually grew to include LPI-Steve.Anderson, LNS-Liberator and Remtos, LN-Timothy.Hawk, David.Hale, Catherine.Raven, Joshua.Ashfield and Aleesha.Cooper, Ian.Johnson, Jack.Sheppard, Michae Simpson, LSF Seritjago MM-Sebsatian,Rodriguez, Simon.Templar and MM-Puma. With the arrival of the LN vessels in numbers the tide turned and eventually the unlawfuls were removed or they eventually retreated to Rocester Base.
