Here's your copy of the field manual. The naming conventions are listed here(scroll down until you see "Ship Naming Convention"). You are cleared to fighter class (Wrath VHF and Snubnose bomber) ships.

The standard ship is the Wrath. You are not required to have a bomber for starters, but you are encouraged to procure one also if you have the means to acquire it.

Background Information:
[indent]Lukas Eberhardt was born on Planet Holstein to Felix and Margarete Eberhardt. His mother stayed at home and looked after the family, but she took immense pride in this. This was hard for young Lukas to understand how someone could take so much pride in something so simple but he knew that he admired it greatly. His father was a simple man, not very intelligent. He worked for Kruger Minerals, mostly aboard mining ships doing minor mechanics and janitorial work. What his Father lacked in brains he made up for in hard work, kindness, and patriotism. These are the qualities Lukas's Mother always said are what made her fall for his father and are the qualities Lukas tried to imitate. Lukas had no siblings, having one child was already a strain on Felix and Margarete financially.

The Eberhardts Never had very many credits but when Lukas was very young they saved every penny they could. Anything that they could do without they did. After Lukas was born Felix was a changed man and vowed that his son would have a better life than him. His father saved enough money to send Lukas to a private primary and secondary academy on Holstein. Being that all the families money went to education Lukas was not able to get the trendy clothes and toys that the other kids had in the academy. The other kids noticed and they picked on Lukas often. His mother was always there to comfort him and his father was always there to advise him. He became very close to his Father during these years, they were each others best friends. Lukas's Father shared many stories with Lukas, even though he wasn't smart he was wise, he had experience. Stories that stuck out to Lukas were the ones about his father being attacked by Red Hessians and other unlawfuls while on mining ships. His Father came extremely close to not coming home many times and lost many friends throughout his years. These are the stories that made Lukas realize what he wanted to do with is life, his purpose. It was to join up with the Rhineland Military and put an end to this evil. His Father would talk about how when it looked like it was going to be the end and he lost all hope the Rhineland Military would show up and save the day. His father was ever grateful to the Rhineland Military and so was Lukas. Lukas wanted to help people like his Father.

Lukas's father did not plan for any advanced schooling, so when Lukas decided he wanted to attend the Military Academy on New Berlin he knew he was going to have to get himself to New Berlin and cover his tuition. Since Lukas did not understand the sacrifice his father made for him when he was young he did not take advantage of his educational opportunities, his grades were average so a scholarship was out of the question. But because of test scores he was accepted to the Military Academy. Lukas decided to delay acceptance and take a job offer on an independent transport doing maintenance to save enough credits. He did that for about two years which helped him put away enough money at the same time sending some home to help his family. Lukas really enjoyed the time he spent traveling Sirius and would always remember the people he met. One in particular was Elanor Hewitt. She was the daughter of a VIP the ship he was working on was transporting. She was the first girl that was ever nice to him, even when she knew he was just the help. Lukas sometimes would think that he loved her. They kept in contact for a while but her father eventually found out and forbid it. He never talked to her again.

Lukas never took his eye off the prize (maybe he lost a little focus for a while because of Elanor but most would understand). He finally had saved up enough credits and ran his last trade route to New Berlin. Even after traveling Sirius on a transports Lukas was never given the chance to pilot. Once in the Academy, Lukas felt he belonged, he loved the structure and discipline. He found he was very talented in simulators and in practice once allowed, flying seemed to come natural to him. He decided that he needed to become the best pilot he could be. Lukas took Advanced classes in Combat Theory and Principle, and Counter-Intelligence and Surveillance. Trying to get a diversified education he supplemented his education with classes such as Introduction to Rheinland Law and Government and classes about Rheinland History. Amid his time at the Academy Lukas was involved in an incident where a classmate was injured quite severely. Lukas and a buddy were fooling around with training crafts when Lukas's buddy challenged him to a race. At first Lukas refused, but was convinced after his buddy challenged his bravery. They crashed and one of the training crafts pinned another student and almost killed them. The incident was investigated quite thoroughly and it was decided that even though it was a bad decision, no one was at fault do to extenuating circumstances. Lukas felt otherwise, he blamed himself. Lukas vowed never again to let emotion effect his decisions. He would carry orders exact and follow them no matter what. Lukas finished the rest of his training and education graduating with above average marks. His recommendations concerning his combat skills state that he has great potential and rates at the top of his class in combat practice, but still lacks the skills in application.

So now Lukas is taking the final step to realizing his dream and using his training in real application, he is submitting his application to join the ranks of the Rheinland Military.

Basic Personality Traits:
Lukas is very quiet, describes himself as an observer. He reacts to others and tries not to make the first move. He is very loyal, would follow orders without a thought to his own safety. He is very calculated, doesn't do anything without reason. But will always rise to the occasion if needed and will grab hold and lead.

For how long have you been playing on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ?
About 3 months, extremely active first month. A little less active of late because of work but getting back into it.

What made you come play on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ?
Really enjoyed freelancer when it came out, came across Disco looking for mods. Disco was the first mod I tried and really enjoyed it. I really enjoy RPing.

What other characters do you have on the Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 server?
A freelancer, an indie trader, and an indie miner.

What OOC reason do you have for joining the RM?
I spent a lot of time with my other characters exploring Sirius and observing RP. The best RP I have seen and been a part of is in Rheinland. Also I just like the Rheinland story.

Background Information: I could rattle on for days retelling old war stories. All that's needed to be known here is I'm in a relationship with everyone's favourite Major General, Gunther Rall. I'm also three months pregnant with his child.

I've never really had a permanent residence beyond my ship, so moving from one house to another has never been much of a thought to me. But now that I'm about to become a mother, I want to settle down close to the man who was the "cause" of all this... That, and I may have made a promise to fly alongside him at some point...

In my other life I'm a Junker by trade. I sell steel and alloys smelted from whatever garbage I can get my hands on. My primary ship is the Alsatia, a heavily modified pirate transport. I am also in control of the Maelstrom, a Liberty Rogue Scylla which has been spotted loitering around Mecklenburg previously.

Other: I've already had some basic training from Gunther in Braunschweig and according to him my ability level is "fundamentally sound". I am a "self-taught" cruiser controller and have multiple downed Liberty capitals to my name. Ironically I also have the Tirpitz (both of them) accredited to me.

For how long have you been playing on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ? About a year and a half or so.

What made you come play on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ? My old server was shut down due to lack of activity so I installed the mod and found this server.

What other characters do you have on the Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 server? I only play one character and that is Evangeline McDowell. I will not be making any "new" character if accepted, rather continue my on-going story as a Military agent.

What OOC reason do you have for joining the RM? Because I, along with half of the server, am in love with Gunther Rall. :ylove:

As an adult Helena finished pre-course to combat mastery, which served her great deal in future. In the age of 23 she finished Akademie der militarischen Ausbildung (Academy of military training). Right after this she continued her path in the military structure.

What made you come play on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ? First it was big amount of playing people, then it came out that Disco is much more complicated thing which can bring more fun

What other characters do you have on the Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 server? My main characters are: [LN]-Christopher.Hood; BAF|Cdr.John.Alster; Order|Col.Julia.Benford, but also I've got plenty of others about which I decided not to write here, since the list would come out pretty long.

Upon the question why Frau Thome wishes to join the Military, she has said that she wants to do this in order to help Rheinland to win the war, and also to do something which legitimates the people of Rheinland to be proud of beeing Rheinlanders again after the last lost war and the constant struggle against the pirats of Rheinland.
