Hartley, reporting in.

Embarked on another patrol of the New York system. At roughly 1138 hours I came across two insurgent ships near the intra-system jump hole, yesterday's INS Discovery and the battlecruiser INS Angel. Gotta say, didn't expect the Rogues to patch up the Discovery quite that quickly. Upon relaying the information to the Missouri, the Forty-Sixth's Liberation (dreadnought) was dispatched to provide assistance with the hostile warships. But, in a display of sheer tactical brilliance, she charged ahead into superior enemy numbers and firepower and was, despite my best but woefully insufficient efforts, promptly disabled.

Luckily, the LSF's Fort Wainwright (cruiser) was able to join us and deal a good chunk of damage to both enemy ships. But, those traitors never can stoop low enough and called in an Outcast gunboat to run interference against me. Outmatched, the Fort Wainwright gave the order to retreat, and we were able to disengage without further trouble.

During the patrol today, TLAGSNET picked up an RGS Cargo Mover with a total of 5,000 units worth of Sorted Artifacts. After being ordered to dispose of the cargo, the merchant attempted bribery. In the end, the Sorted Artifacts were jettisoned and destroyed on spot. Said merchant has received a warning.

Hartley, reporting in from Freeport 12, Galileo.

This is a bit of a strange one. On patrol, the Sheridan discovered the INS Discovery and a Gallic Navy battlecruiser, the Mirande, in the Pittsburgh debris field. By the time reinforcements in the form of the 5th Fleet's New Jersey, the Leavenworth, a 46th Fleet bomber, and myself arrived, the Discovery had escaped, leaving us with the Gallic ship. Its captain claimed the ship to have suffered a jump drive malfunction, resulting in it ending up in New York. Not wanting to cause unnecessary bloodshed or a diplomatic incident - very mature, surprisingly - Commissioner Nazumaki aboard the Leavenworth 'offered' the Mirande an armed escort to the Galileo system. With myself taking point, it all went nice and smoothly.

Returning to Denver, our task force was intercepted by the INS Discovery, INS Fremont (battleship), and a number of Outcast warships. The traitors and their sniffing friends engaged us without much warning in high orbit, focusing their firepower on the Leavenworth. I conducted several torpedo runs on the Fremont before being intercepted by two Rogue fighters. I was able to dispatch one of them, but my bomber was severely damaged in the fight. Through what I can only imagine to be sheer luck, I managed to limp away from the battle and jump to the Galileo system, where I found refuge and emergency repairs on Freeport 12. Good people, these Zoners.

How the battle turned out, I can't say.

Today was my first day in space under the colours of Liberty Police. Alongside Commissioner Nazumaki, she introduced me to the tools and jobs as an officer of the law. After a bit of time, a handful of 46th| Fleet cruisers and Sisu snubcrafts joined in and it all came together to welcome me into the force. Have to say, this wasn't how I imagined my first day to go.

Managed to do three routine cargo scans!

Good evening,

Hartley, Reyes, I'm going to remind both of you that the Internal Reward System exists and is a very fast and easy way for officers to get rewarded for catching a smuggler or taking down a troublemaker. Claiming your rewards takes almost no time as the templates are designed in a way that makes them simple to use.

Other than that, Hartley, it seems that you and the Discovery have developed quite a relationship. Two consecutive reports titled after the same ship? I would be proud if I was the Discovery's CO.

Reyes, it would be nice if you included the names of smugglers you're catching in the future. Helps for easier reference without having to open the visual proof logs.

Last but not least, Kennedy, I want to officially welcome you to the Liberty Police. Soon, if you keep those efforts up, you will be flying the same colors the rest of us are. One Police Plaza is expecting you for your combat training to begin, the specifics will be discussed face-to-face with the officers on board the station. Pass by at your earliest convenience and head to the training center, I told 'em to expect you.

Everything was Chilled, Everything was clean.. Till I bumped into a newly civilian who seems to be unsure of their dream job, and began to speak about their Father been in the Gold Digging company, which got me the expression of the BMM, and the RGS and kruger.

told them The BMM is an Bretonian Space Company and they began to think about it while we speak about the actions been going on.. after a while they wanted to cut it short to not spend my time listening then Patroling, they landed on Manhattan to see they can find there for work before going to seek a job else were.. After that I kept out about another ten minutes and reported nothing newly happened.

Before I fly off for weapons training, I decided to take one last lap around Pennsylvania and New York on my own. Get to really take in Liberty at it's best. My travels took me to Manhattan's orbit where I met a GMG trade-ship. After a routine scan and a small conversation, they were on their way. Another day of a quiet, stress-free New York. I should probably go to One Police Plaza before they start asking questions. The Commissioner sees me doing well here, so I'm going to try make them proud.

Another lap around New York. Found two ships idle in front of Newark, one heavily armoured Bounty Hunter called "Rusty.Old.Screw" and the other, a Freelancer Oasis "Arkania". After a quick cargo scan, they seemed innocent, until they got defensive about my questions. Civilians need to understand we're here to help. I may not have handled it as tactfully as a more experienced officer... but at least give me something to work with.

A minute or so later, I came across a transport by the name of "CreepyCargo" they held for a scan, until they tried to fly off and use the lane before I gave the green light! Telling them to "Hold it!" was enough to stop them. Had to tell them to wait for an all clear. Did a secondary scan to be sure, and I let them go.

Today was a day where my ship could have been scorched by Rogue weapons fire. Luckily, I didn't enter the Badlands with my incompatible mounted hardware to allow that to happen.

Met up with 46th fleet Kodiak-1 above Manhattan where a Rogue vessel by the name of Red.Blast flies behind Trenton, through to the Badlands. I managed to disrupt him at the West Point / Missouri lane, but this pilot was maneuvering in such a weird way, entered the Badlands and I refused to go in there after them. They were carrying Black Market Light Arms, I managed to get a record of that at least.

A little later, the Rogue was provoking me to come back over the emergency channel. Was not going to do that with my current ship. Conveniently enough, I bumped into a Freelancer Arrow called "Ping.Peng-Ei.Weg" who was armed with experimental weapons and a cloaking device. Tried to hire them so we could remove the Rogue threat together, but then they disappeared from our TLAGS network. We both docked and called it a day.

The lane hacker Victoria Romero, flying a Transgressor-class bomber, is not to be harassed by LPI units on patrol. She is working with the Investigative Department as an informant.

If you encounter her on the shipping lanes, shoo her off and move on. If you encounter her harassing transports, shoo her off and escort the transports to the next junction. Romero will be amenable. If you encounter her engaging in activities that warrant an armed response, arrest her and deliver her to the branch offices on Houston.
