I've noticed that the ancient danger building and the surrounding terrain (mountain) form narrow dead-ends on two sides of the structure (western and southern). How about placing the gun mounts at the mouth of either, then open up the building at the far end of the corridor so anything coming out of it will walk straight into our line of fire?
