Background Information: Diego's great grandfather was born in New Berlin and went MIA on a mission for the Rheinland Military, when that happened, his daughter, Diego's grandmother, learned of a rumor that he was still alive on bretonia space, that rumor was never confirmed, she moved to New London to look for her father but never found him, nevertheless, she end up meeting my grandfather, who worked in the liberty Navy, they got married and had two sons, Diego's father and uncle, both showed to be exceptional pilots, Diego's uncle started to serve the navy with his father and Diego's father was a freelancer, working most on escorting traders.
But suddenly their father and Diego's uncle dissapear, with a hole navy cruiser, my uncle was found four months later in the border worlds, bounty hunters brought him to New York and delivered him to the liberty police, he was considered guilty for killing his father and seize control of the cruiser, his plans were to deliver his CO to an Unlawfull faction (never been proved), he was acused of treason and executed.
Diego's father never believed that his brother was a traitor and startad asking questions, he was attacked by unknown ships in the middle of New York system and started to fear for his life, he was 26 when he fled to Stuttgart, he met a woman there, Diego's mother, she worked for the Rheinland
Military and saw the habilities of her lover, recruiting him to the RM, I was born two years later, my father had no choice but to lay low for the time being.
12 years later, they received a call from an old friend of Diego's father, that friend was Edward Grant, an spy working inside the liberty navy, the transmition was:

It was a trap, when Marcus and his wife got there, Grant was dead and they didn't stand a chance. 12 years old and an orphan, Diego started to work for one of his mothers's friend, John, a trader from New Berlin, he learned how to fly with his parents, but John told him the strategies, he was a retired soldier from the RM and a great strategist, Diego learned fast and couldn't wait to join the Military.
9 years later, John passed away, cancer, and Diego started looking forward to his dream of serving the fatherland.
Basic Personality Traits: See that strategy wins a war, not brutal force. Is the kind of guy that thinks before acting, see the weak spot of the enemy and explore it. If you are looking for a team to cloak on and take a hole battleship from the hear and destroy it before it even know what is going on, he would like to be on that team. Background Information: Bernd Schneider was born on Planet Hamburg and also grew up there. His mother, still living on Hamburg, is the head of a laboratory of the Hamburg police forensics. His father was a speculator on the stock exchange, also on Hamburg and died 8 years ago due to a heart disease. After his fathers death his uncle, who was a trainer in the RM Flight Training Centre on Hamburg, took care of Bernd and whenever there were no training lessons planned, he took Bernd to the simulators just to have him some fun. What might be cooler for a teenager than playing around with military simulators? Turned out, that Bernd was a very talented pilot and a pretty good tactician. But when Bernd was 18 his uncle retired, so there was no possibility to proceed with the training in the Centre. His uncle tried to convince him to apply for the RM, but he never made that step, because he thought, his skills might not be enough (yet). He decided to buy a ship by himself and get some experiences. The next six years he escorted other pilots and also took a few bounty-hunt jobs. Of course there were people, who were not happy about hearing things like “No, we did not capture the freighter, a civilian greenhorn shot our two fighters down…” After some time, the Red Hessians decided to get rid of Bernd, because he frequently disturbed their operations. They bought some information, about where he was about to be the next days and they sent 4 elite-pilots to hunt him down.
Finally they found and engaged him. He was able to kill 2 of them, but after 30 minutes of merciless fighting they managed to shred his ship into pieces. His escape-pod was damaged and stuck in the wreck of his ship. As the remaining Hessians were about to destroy the pod, a RM-patrol recognized them. The Hessians tried to flee, but the RM-pilots intercepted them and brought them to justice. While checking the fight-site for escape-pods they found Bernd badly injured and stuck in the wreck. They freed him and took him to the New Berlin Hospital. As soon as Bernd was able to think and talk again, the Feldwebel, who led the patrol visited him. He was impressed, that Bernd survived that long against the Hessians and even killed two of them. He told Bernd, that the RM could always use pilots like him and that he could put in a good word for Bernd.
After curing his injuries Bernd finally decided to apply for the RM, never forgetting that he owes it his life.

About one and a half week. But I'm very familiar with FL in general. I played it for a very long time 3 or 4 years ago.
What made you come play on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ?
Well, actually I just wanted to play Freelancer again. I looked around, if there were good mods and then I found this one. And what could I say? It’s awesome! Also I think the RP gives a lot more long-term-motivation. Of course it’s also great that the community here seems very active and the server is always well visited.

Klaus Reinhardt was born in a young und kleine familie in the slums of New Berlin. His vater Alfred Reinhardt joined the Rheinland Polizei to feed the familie, so little Klaus didn't see sein vater too often and was mostly taken care of by his mutter, Gretel Reinhardt.
Wenn he hat 6 jahre, die Familie went on a promising business-trip to Planet Cambridge. Some Daumann schiffs were heading that way through the Omega systems, so the Reinhardts decided to stick with them because of the very cheap price.
Wenn the convoy entered Omega-11 space, it became clear that the cheap price was because of the hoch probability of getting ambushed by pirates or other terrorist organizations operating in diese Systeme. A group of das Wilde rained hell all over the fighter escorts taking them by surprise and eliminating half of them. But wenn everybody thought it was over, little Klaus saw the grün Licht of Stealthblades taking down Das WIlde fighters one after another, and then the image of 5 Valkyries flanking from the sides and graciously outmaneuvering the baddies and crushing them together with the remaining fighter escorts.
Little Klaus asked: 'Mutter, was sind diese?' She answered:' Die gutten Leute!'. Since then the image of the mighty Rheinland Military remained encrypted in his memory.That was the moment when Klaus decided he wants to be with 'them'.
Business went well and his vater could afford the boy's studies in the military academy of New Berlin. Tutors were hired, countless simulators were bought to train junge Klaus and make him the gutte pilot and fine gentleman he is now.

- Freelancer was my favorite game since i was a kid, and Freelancer Discovery fills the emptiness that Freelancer 2 had to fill (Damn you microsoft! ^^).

Background Information: Vilks Hauendorf was born on Planet Stuttgart in A.S. 794. Both of his patriotic parents believed in the legitimacy and goodness of the Rheinlander state; his mother and father pursuing careers as public administrator and RFP officer respectively. Hauendorf was indentured with the traditional (some might say old-fashioned) Rheinlander principles: hard work, excellence at ones profession, and loyalty.
As radicalism under the Red Hessian and LWB groups increased throughout the republic and particularly Stuttgart, Hauendorf grew up amid a population separated by political lines. His mother, a public official frequently connected to the Synth Foods corporation due to her work, had an assassination attempt carried out on her by LWB members in his early adolescence. Though his mother survived the incident, Hauendorf grew increasingly begrudged against labor movement causes, participating in a series of pro-government rallies - one of which left a number of alleged Red Hessian sympathizers slain.
Investigated by police after having made statements implying key labor supporters were Nomad-infected, all charges were ultimately dropped, and no connection to Hauendorf and the rally killings was ever established. Following the beginning of the war between the Republic of Liberty and the FRP, Hauendorf enlisted as a combat pilot with the Rheinland Military, rising to PFC status after months of service without incident.
Basic Personality Traits: Hauendorf is renowned among his comrades for his almost fanatical adherence to military guidelines and law. In one case, he purportedly flew directly into a believed Hessian ambush, drawing their fire in order to enable his fighter wing to return fire and engage the disguised terrorists. Jokes famously fall flat upon his ears, and in contrast to his fellow pilots he seldom partakes in bouts of drinking, citing how alcohol inherently brings out, "the recklessness of the Libertarian, the ineptitude of the Bretonian, and the belligerence of the Kusari."
