I grew up on Hamburg - planetside, of course. There were worse places to grow up in, but there were certainly better ones, too. Things have gotten better since my childhood, but I still count myself lucky to have the opportunity to write to even you today, given the state of our local economy. My father told me to aim high - and with my grades, where better to aim than at the Rheinwehr itself? I've been skiing on these mountains almost since I could walk, so you can rest assured I have the reflexes necessary to pilot well. I've held a civilian pilot's license since I was sixteen, too - and I passed first time. My experience is mostly limited to day trips inside the system itself - usually in the family Anki - but I know my way around the sims, too. I know they don't compare to what you have in the academy, but I'm confident that I have a good enough grounding to give it a fair shot. More than anything, though, I'm prepared to put my life on the line, working to make Rheinland a better place - not just to keep the status quo. |

Born and raised on the western side of the planet in a family of 4, Joachim was showing signs of his genius from an early age. Quickly becoming his fathers favorite child, he received the best money could buy. In time he developed a thing for space, and after finishing highschool, he enrolled in the military academy on New Berlin. Dropping out after 3 years, due to being unable to pass of the exams, he took up a few freelance jobs to earn himself a few credits. Saving up for a few years doing various jobs for others, he bought a ship and started doing some dirty work collecting bounties. I was born to Mark and Anna Zimmerman at a hospital in Planet Stuttgart, and had a pretty normal childhood save for the fact that my parents were moderatly wealthy, which at times put me at odds with some others of the more jealous type, I went through college at the University and graduated with decently average grades. My mother perished several days after graduation when a Hessian heavy fighter destroyed her small passenger ship in Hamburg, which also lead to the death of her escort and pilot as well. Afterwards I helped my father run the family's small trading operation of two trains and three escorts, which we ran together for about two years. He continues to run the company to this day and funds my project, although my brother is now the heir to the company. I joined DHC security forces at age of 24, but due to low salary and thirst for more action I decided to try my luck with Military. I split my time currently going through training simulators and textbooks. |

I was born in Stuttgart where my parents where wealthy from owning and running there very own holiday resort. This holiday resort had new people coming and going every week. Meeting hundreds of people throughout my childhood made me popular for my charming, sweet, clever personality. My schooling was a private teacher who came to my home during the evening and would sit and teach me the basics, so my languages, my maths and the odd bit of science and so on. From there I went of to university do study sports and entertainment. Some say I was a double major, but I just done the things I enjoyed. Was a big sports fan and kept up with the sports like most teenagers. But my father went off and started his flight schooling and passed first time, after some years he was a pilot of his own Behemoth small transport where he would take holiday makers on a tour from orbit. They would pay a good amount of money to see such view. I took a big interest and once I graduated university, he started taking me with him and the holiday makers, where he would show me the basics of flying his transporter. After several years, I took my lessons and become a small vessel pilot myself. After a few months I sat down and spoke with my parents and I studied long and hard, done my research and decided I want to fight for my home. The Federal Republic of Rheinland. With this in mind, I decided to come here today and apply for the Rheinland Military. |

I dont know anything about my birthplace, I raised in the Engel orphanage on Planet New Berlin, I dont know anything about my real Parents one thing I know is they leave me at the orphanage when I was 2 months old. I had a normal life more or less, I enrolled to school with 6 years like other children in my age. With 13 years i randomly detected my protective instinct when a bully was trying to rob one of my class mate, i succesfully beat down a 15 year old guy and could safe my class mate. With 18 I finally left school and got moved in to regular Military duty for 9 months. In this time I was stationed on Battleship Strausberg, I passed trough flight school and educated in fighter fighting tactics and bomber tactics, in this time I figured out that the Rheinland Military was my life, I met something like a "family" which i never had between the comrades in my company. With 19 my duty was over and I started my somehow life as a Freelancer, with 22 I had the chance to meet a old comrade from my regular duty on Strausberg, we were talking about old times and our life now I escorted him trough Omega-7 to Freistadt Base, we got ambushed by a wing of Red Hessians, I did everything to save his life, unsuccesful, they managed to destroy his ship... In a moment of silence Rheinland Military appeared from Battleship Schwerin and together we managed to destroy all of the Hessians vessels, from this moment I knew where I belong to, and who I want to serve to, I want to defend Rheinland from all its threats, defend all Citizens of Rheinland. I want to defend this "family". |
