[color=#CCCCCC]Good to be back in the cockpit again, beats the hell out of flying a display on the Missouri, if you'll excuse the informality. Turns out things are pretty well the same as I remembered them, right down to the twin Outcast Dreadnoughts in Manhattan orbit. They went down in short order once reinforcements poured in. I'd like to note the actions of the crew of the LNS-Marathon, a Liberty Dreadnought, who engaged both hostile Capital ships without regard to their own health in order to draw them away from civilians. In the course of the battle the ship suffered damage, and fifteen crewmen lost their lives. Despite this, the ship carried on and eventually assisted in bringing down both hostiles with minimal additional damage to itself.

Following the battle, Captain Frost, a.k.a The.Thief as well as Mr Jason Hudson from the 36th RV'd with me at West Point and we headed out on patrol. Hit a Rogue bomber group on the way to the California gate, with one of them making a run at the last minute with the intention of hitting West Point. Another bit of luck on our part, the armor held and Frost was able to get in the final shot on the Barghest.

Shortly after the bomber was scrapped, a passing civilian Havoc, by the callsign yaz' opened up on me. The ship was unresponsive to warnings and I was forced to shoot it down.

After a quiet run through of California scanners picked up two Bundschuh ships making a burn for the New York gate. No response to hails from either member of the pair, and Frost and I showed them the airlock. Lost track of the pods about four k's off the West Point-California lane. Once those two were dealt with we were engaged by an exceptionally skilled Rogue piloting an Eagle, callsign: Somebody.Unimportant. No idea who the man was, but he knew how to fly. All up, it took all three of us (with the help of a passing Freelancer) to bring the ship down.
