Ticketmaster - Kazinsal - 04-10-2014

Is it just me or is Ticketmaster literally satan?

Presale opened 10am. Clicked "find best seats" furiously for 30 minutes. All I got was nosebleed balcony seats.

Aside: These aren't even for me -- these are for my parents.

Sixty dollars per ticket. One nosebleed section closer, eighty dollars per ticket. Lower bowl? Not even available.

What.

Ticketmaster is the worst company I've ever dealt with. People say EA is the worst company, but EA doesn't give you the worst nosebleed seats it can during a presale.

RE: Ticketmaster - sindroms - 04-10-2014

What is Ticketmaster?

RE: Ticketmaster - Kazinsal - 04-10-2014

The main north american distributor of concert tickets and stuff.

RE: Ticketmaster - sindroms - 04-10-2014

People still go to concerts?

RE: Ticketmaster - Fifty. - 04-10-2014

Send them a few rant emails, might even get something free if you whine enough.

RE: Ticketmaster - t0l - 04-10-2014

Don't forget their convienence fee.

They're probably sitting there like, "I'm selling tickets and sitting here right now and missing Judge Judy. This is mildly inconvienent."

It's like 30% for "convienence". What the hell?

Hey Kaz - Try Stubhub. I know a ton of my friends who go through them instead of ticketmaster. Another trick is get on the phone about 5-10 minutes before a sale goes on. BS the conversation till the clock strikes 10AM, and then tell them what you want. I've gotten a ton of tickets where I wanted by doing that. Doesn't help NOW, but for future reference.

Yeah... glad Dream Theater's going to be in a nice music-oriented theatre on Saturday instead of a hockey arena or the like.

(THOSE tickets I at least got through CrowdSurge instead of Ticketmaster.)
