Recite Our Motto: I was born in planet Manhattan. I didn't know my parent's and I don't know how they looked like. I was collected by a stranger couple when I was young cause I lived in the street. I would like to be a real good man and would like to enter in orders. After few years in police faction of liberty, I would like to explore and keep in rules the Edge Worlds. I had a good training in fighters manipulation and be able to serv the core cause.

Previous Jobs/Roles/Experience: MS Plasma Physics from Universite de Bretagne. You might not be familiar with it, and from my name you may have already guessed my origin to be Gallic so most of my education is based on Gallic curricula. Nevertheless physics is physics whether you learn it from one place or another and you can ask an official from Gallia as to the reputation of that school. I believe a working knowledge of nuclear fusion from a scientific background should make me more than qualified for APM’s R&D division. Doubly so if APM ever wants to pursue CNO based fusion.

Detailed Background, One Paragraph or So (the more we can learn about you, the better): Raised by her single mother, a professor of a University, Chantal’s inquisitive mind was quickly fostered by her mother, proud to have a daughter that may follow her footsteps of scientific pursuit. Shortly after graduating Chantal found herself wanting to experience unknown space, fascinated by its yet undiscovered phenomena and the idea being on the very frontier of human expansion and knowledge. Being of Gallic origin when the crown has saw fit to make itself an enemy of the entire sector has not made it easy for her out in sirius, really only being able to find safe harbor in Freeports and often around Rheinland more than anything. Hearing recent news about Core’s warming relations with Gallia has motivated her to apply to APM under the hopes of them being more accepting of her ethnicity than other organizations would be.

A nervous yet inquisitive person, Chantal is quick to ask questions and quick to comprehend, a natural at engineering and science. She is often held back by her tendency towards pessimism and often overly worries about a situation.

Why do you want to join The Core/APM?: I believe Core to be one of the few sirian organizations to be receptive to my nationality. Your cybernetics and ship building are indeed quite fascinating as well. APM seems like the best place for me to both explore the frontier and apply my knowledge and aptitude.

How long have you been playing Freelancer Discovery for?: About 2 months, played for a bit back in 2013 but wasn’t forum active.

Have you ever played a Core character before? Have you read the lore of The Core? Do you know what The Core is?: Haven’t played a core character, I have read the overview of the faction. I know its a fascist state with a strong focus on technological superiority and transhumanism.


How familiar are you with the Edge Worlds?: Not very, though that should be some of the fun, this character irp is not very familiar to anything outside Gallia.

How would you rate your RP skills out of 10?: RP I’d rate 6-7, I feel my forum RP when I get around to writing it is solid and I have a decent grasp on story telling and characters, though I have yet to really find an inspiration to actually sit down and write a full story in the Disco world.

How would you rate your PvP skills out of 10? What ship-types are you good in?: Probably a 6 or so, I can hold my own but not a pro by any means, my focus is mainly cruisers and battlecruisers but I can snub decent enough to be passable in group fights.

Why do you want to join the The Core?: I think Core (specifically APM) would be a great opportunity to write an R&D type role play

Detailed Background, One Paragraph or So (the more we can learn about you, the better): Name's Jimmy. I have decided to start a new life. Before that I was a trader. I used to carry around all sorts of things under a different name and identity. From artifacts to pottery, all Sirius had to offer once passed through my cargo hold.
Due to unfortunate events, I ended up jailed in Alaska. I did around 4 years among the most violent criminals in Liberty. I have seen many, indeed. I finished my sentence 2 years ago and have been gathering money ever since to start anew. Little did they know that Jimmy Choo was my real name. In my "good days" I went by the name of a mister Oswald M.

As I said, my name is Jimmy Choo. I have been gathering money with the intent to use it in an honorable way. I wish to be part of the Core in order to defend humanity from it's biggest threat: the nomads. I want to finally redeem myself.

Detailed Background, One Paragraph or So (the more we can learn about you, the better): Born on Planet Los Angeles, my father was a high ranked Navy pilot, near to the end of his career. He was a member of a bomber attacking fleet, and he taught me a lot of those. After completing education, I've started working in a crew of escorting pilot for Ageira. But of course I wanted to reach something more like my father has done, so I started working for LN. I've been transferred to Norfolk Shipyard, and usually I did escorts to a certain sector, (as orders, I had not to know more), but one time from that zone I was petrified to see a group of luminescent ships, indescribable for my eyes. Immediately they orderd me to break off, and all the remaining fleet went there. Since I've seen that, I have been informed about what's "behind" there. That encouter made me curious, so I called a good friend, a zoner trader met during the resupplies at the shipyard, I've made one of the the most risky trip of my life, towards Omicron Delta, FP11. There I've met one of your pilots. And now I'm here. The reason of my departure from Liberty is that if they can reach us in Liberty, there's no difference if I stay here in the Omicrons. I'm more ready to stay among people that truly fight to cease that threat, instead of blatantly ignoring and hiding.

Why do you want to join The Core/APM?: As my parents told me, just few years before my birth, there had been the menacing Nomad War, and the humanity have risked a lot. Nowadays, almost 20 years after, I feel that the situation is not really contained as the House govs try to let belive. If there's one organization that looks like to show an authority and a forceful statement against this threat, I think that it's the Core. I belive that together a new strong state could live. I'd feel protected and of course I would like to take part in the fight.

I could wish to tell you I was a Zoner raising each morning from bed and smiling at the sun. But it would be just a lie. I wasn't a peaceful sort, and I knew battle. But these times are long gone since war knocked at my door. No, it kicked the door out of its hinges and rushed in, burning everything inside. Omicrons, so beaconing and alluring, yet so relentless and unforgiving. Just as my parents, I was a Bounty Hunter once. Needless to say, it was a well rewarding job, both in terms of money and satisfaction. We used to swoop on our targets in Liberty and Independent Worlds and collect money for their heads. It was a nice time... until we dared to take a contract on certain Corsairs in Omicrons. Oh, we prepared good, but they were better, they were more, and they expected us. Ferocious and numerous, the Corsairs shredded us to pieces, but not before paying with most of their lives. I was the only one of us survived, spared to be a trophey, a toy of my target. Time I don't want to remember... People say Corsairs are brutal savages, some say they have their own sense of honour. But like everybody else, they differ from man to man and woman to woman. In the end, it just happened, I payed no difference and showed no mercy, washing down their filth in the river of blood. With my contract completed, I escaped in one of their own ships, as ugly and hated as its former owner. But then I couldn't return home, for after all I didn't have home left anymore. And I ached for blood and revenge. Shortly after I was with the Guild Core, bringing havoc and mayhem to its enemies, and gradially sating my bloodlust... Time passed, environment changed, and so did I.

Why do you want to join The Core?: I wish to return to active service after a focus on my own Nomad research for the last two years. Said research was a result of lacking need of the Command to call me in for different tasks. The Vessels under my command are freshly maintained and ready to fly for the primary body of the Core once again.

Have you ever played a Core character before? Have you read the lore of The Core? Do you know what The Core is?: Yes. I played Core characters before. Learnt a good bit about Rayne's style as well, still learning her unique style though. Also had countless interactions with Core, the more in depth ones around 2015 though.

How familiar are you with the Edge Worlds?: Good enough to not get lost and eaten by evil squids.

How would you rate your RP skills out of 10?: Depends on my mood, aiming to reach the high standard Rayne as char used to be. So.. between 7-10.

How would you rate your PvP skills out of 10? What ship-types are you good in?: Enough. Not the best but it will do.

Why do you want to join the The Core?: Was given Rayne as a character, she gave the Core a unique touch for me when I interacted a damn lot with the faction back in 2015-2016, I want to try return this unique character back to the Core for others to enjoy.

Detailed Background, One Paragraph or So (the more we can learn about you, the better): As i sad, i was commander of Death Wing mercenary group, and was performed quite good amount of contracts while i was in charge, including The Core contracts. Was even involved in conflict with Bretonia Police Authorities about hunting Auxesia for The Core in Bretonia space. Also i was former military back in Liberty Navy, when there was a war between Librty and Rheinland.

Why do you want to join The Core/APM?: I always considered The Core as mighty organization with a very big future, so wanted to be a part of it. I have enough skills and experience so i guarantee, that i won't embarrass you with having me in your ranks.

Have you ever played a Core character before? Have you read the lore of The Core? Do you know what The Core is?: Haven't played The Core characted yet, but i was playing with Th Core members on Bounty Hunter char. I know, that The Core is lawful evil with great plans of evolution in future. The Core also the only one fraction here with evil-lawful status. Evil-lawful status is similar to Empire (Star Wars) meaning to me, so i'm familiar with RP aspects of The Core and it's history.

How familiar are you with the Edge Worlds?:Familiar enough, in all other cases - i have Discovery NavMap.

How would you rate your RP skills out of 10?: 7 of 10 (only because english is not my native language)

How would you rate your PvP skills out of 10? What ship-types are you good in?: Gunboats (8 of 10), cruisers and battlecruisers (7 of 10)

Why do you want to join the The Core?:The Core was first, and actually only fraction, that was willing to help me, when i was started playing Bounty Hunters.
