how do i work discovery launchpad - edjarkane - 07-09-2014
my dad wants to play discovery freelancer however i maxed out the normal char limit and i dont want to delete everything. i found out about launchpad but i don't know how to use it. if someone can help me with it it i would be very grateful.

Be sure to "Scan" your actual (original) account info into the program and SAVE it before you create and activate new accounts, or the old account info will be lost. If you exit the program without saving, your account info will be lost.

Regardless, the above from lIceColon does work. It's a matter of preference. With Launchpad, you don't need to edit any registry files, nor do you need to have a separate program for making accounts.
Either way, the link I gave has threads/tutorials on both programs/methods, as well as any helpful info you may need.

Yes, you are correct. I did not realize that you have to click on the blue arrow icon to open the specific thread of a program, so I thought the links are broken there. My bad.

didnt save before saning.................everything got lost

if you remember the ship names you had, ask an admin, they will move them to another account, try to supply as much info as you can, last time/date you logged on with any of those
so
in launchpad create a new account , create a ship, log it (so it shows on admins info) , tell the admins the ship name and they will help to move those you have lost to that account
post here with your ships names your ships
and remember to save, when you create an account, you'll see a yellow X top right of launchpad, that means accounts need to be saved
