It amuses me that you think these changes pander to only Junkers, Alpha has been very active lately with the Cross and other Outcast indies
But it's irrefutable that on the whole this buff panders to Junkers too much.

Any buff is going to pander to Junkers then, anything in this entire game can be moved by Junkers, there isn't a single item that can't be, so does that mean any commodity that's boosted will automatically pander to junkers?

What you said does have merit - yes Junkers have large access to a very wide variety of commodities - however Cardamine is probably up there as being one of the worst ones that could be buffed after taking that into consideration lol. You can already take up PScrap to Alpha, now you can also take back overly-buffed Cardamine too! This leads to a swell in the amount of Junkers, which then leads to pirate factions having less ships to pirate.
I actually suggested a buff for Premium Scrap on the Samura shipyard because it's a buff that wouldn't pander to Junkers. There's also a whole load of other contraband that could be buffed which wouldn't tie in with the Premium Scrap route.

The Pscrap - Cardi run between Alpha-Texas was essentially a route already designed with Junkers in mind as the primary financial beneficiary. Junkers are tied to BOTH commodities as much as Corsairs are tied to Artifacts, Hessians to Blood Diamonds, etc.

Now, you are right, since Junkers are usually an integral part of MOST (but hardly all) smuggling operations in Sirius, it's true that any buff could be seen as helping them (except for buffs where the high sellpoint is in Kusari), but I would have preferred if perhaps some other region had gotten the activity draw this time around. Omegas or even Sigmas certainly could use the love.

Gah! I'm agreeing with Lyth now.... *goes to get head examined*

Perhaps Propoganda could find itself a nice new profitable sell point? The cargo itself already costs a lot to buy, having a rewarding sell point filled with dangers could introduce a nice high risk/reward commodity.
However, looking at the current buypoints, I'm not really sure what could be done to give it a balanced sell point.

Long overdue.

RE: Buff Rotations - Hidamari - 03-07-2015

the gaian wildlife has really helped the BPA get activity, if it gets removed im pretty sure they'll be dead once again.

What about KSP then?

RE: Buff Rotations - Hidamari - 03-07-2015

cant there be more than 1 buff at a time? is it against the laws of sirius or something?

Edit
also there is no commodities that go through kusari that are contraband since they are in bed with corsairs, and the jumpholes in kusari are now complete crap, so nobody will take cardamine through there, what else is left?

Black Market Munitions maybe?

RE: Buff Rotations - Hidamari - 03-07-2015

the jumpholes in kusari are terrible, nobody would willingly smuggle through there.
