Jack Jenkins leader of the Texas Separatists

The year is 817AS. The Liberty Government makes a declaration: A war against Rheinland. Texas became a battlefield, and many Texans died within the first few days. The war is still continuing, without hope for an end of the massacre. At planet Houston the first months of the war were typical deaths and sufferings of the pilots in the hospitals . After year the things are changing the citizens of the texas system who live on planet Houston started peaceful protests for ending the war but there was no results . Guy called Jack Jenkins seeing the disorganisation of the angry citizens and inspired from the mollys freedom movement he started creating revolutionary movement. More and more people are joining the growing movement known as Texas Separatists . They were against the war, they refused to fight on the both sides in the war , and they started organising rebellion .

The Texas Separatists originally were workers . They were working on Planet Houston at the factories.Big part of the workers at planet Houston are used as cheap labour, in same or worse circumstances as slaves.

Their leader kept up the hope in his fellowinmates, and he slowly began to raise their spirits out of desperation. They slowly began to prepare. As they worked in factories, they could collect the tools and equipment bit by bit. They also contacted a group well known to despise the corruption of Liberty: the Hellfire Legion.

Soon, an opportunity rose. A larger metal ingot shipment arrived to the planet, on several transports. The separatists finally got their chance and took action. They stormed the government building of the city, taking out the Police guards and capturing their armory. From that a whole city wide riot spread out. However, their leader knew, they cannot stay on ther planet, or they all are as good as dead. The rebels captured 3 ships in the attack, and headed off planet. They had immense luck. A Rheinland attack was under way, so most of the Navy stationed in Texas was on patrol in Hudson and Bering. However, a few Navy and Police ships gave chase. The workers tried to hide in the dark matter clouds, but with no success. The chase continued to California, then Magellan. The transports run out of fuel near the edge of the Barrier.

They thought it will be the end. The Navy surrounded them, and charged weapons. However much they plead, they were locked on and the ships began to fire. One transport's core got hit and it went up in a huge ball of fire. The other two ships' shields were also failing, when one of the Navy gunboats suddenly got crippled by a salvo of Cerberus turret fire. Several Hellfire ships bursted out from the Barrier, and opened fire on the Navy ships, disabling all of them. The Legion patrol picked up their begging, and located them.

The rebels were escorted to Vespucci for medical treatment and questioning.Unfortunately the leaders of the Legion refused to support the rebels after that the rebels left Vespucci. After long discussion they decided to dock at Beaumont base for small rest .

Are you going to take feedback and listen to it this time rather than shoving valid feedback to oneside because you think your faction is perfect?

RE: Texas Separatists - Faction Discussion - Astraea - 10-09-2014

a few minor points of question.

First: Vespucci is a long way from texas. There's a xeno base in Minnesota, which is right next door, that they hardly use. why not RP with XA and base from there? or just ask evo on skype or something.

Quote:The rebels were escorted to Fort Leniex, where the Legion commanders listened to their story, and offered their help

seeing as how you are going for a 'unique' faction and just using the HF ID etc for convenience, perhaps RPing this whole thing out as an Event. That way you'd have an RP base to work from as you develop the faction, and if it succeeds and stays alive eventually maybe going for your own ID.

Another, to me at least, flaw in the plan. HF aims to essentially usurp the current military and government (along with Seizing control of liberty), i'm not sure if we'd help a group who'd want to take a portion of Liberty away from that.

Another problem is that people would just see you as Hellfire Legion, when you seem to be using the ID as a convenience for your RP.

As I asked you MANY times before:
Why not to use Xeno ID? Or SRP for Terrorist ID with certain rephacks for each player within TSA?

Even playing with Pirate ID would make more sense here, as both Rogues and Navy would be rather not happy about new guys. I doubt even RM wouldn't be happy about competition (yeah, joking about Texasburg), yet BDM would try to cooperate with Separatist IMO, because one more enemy of Liberty could be friend for Rheinland.

RE: Texas Separatists - Faction Discussion - Astraea - 10-09-2014

A xeno ID would actually be more appropriate for this RP.

you'd be able to do a LOT more when it comes to trying to clear texas of undesirables. Like junkers, for example.

The HF ID is quite limited in what you can do.

This. Haven't checked Xeno ID for a long time, but it looks like Xeno ID is more likely to the goals of TSA.

RE: Texas Separatists - Faction Discussion - |nfrared - 10-10-2014

As I recently learned myself, there are not really enough Xenos out there to have multiple factions of them.

Suggestion - Instead of attempting to start a faction upon your arrival to the server, join an existing one and learn how things work around here. After doing that, if you still want to create a faction, do so.

RE: Texas Separatists - Faction Discussion - Havok - 10-10-2014

While it is different from your previous tries, there is still questions. Biggest one: Have you actually asked the HF if they would assist and Roleplay with you?

RE: Texas Separatists - Faction Discussion - Zen_Mechanics - 10-10-2014

Why should they, they can always create their own faction - but role-playing is always a good thing. Anyway, It's "free dublin" kind of thing? If so, id like to hear more

RE: Texas Separatists - Faction Discussion - Papa Oomaumau - 10-10-2014

Aside from the ID miscalculation, which as suggested above is very easily remedied, I've seen worse.
Vespucci is hella far from Texas, which might mean ship hulls littered all the way through Cali and Magellan, jump hole to jump hole.
On that note, I like it all the more.
