Admiral Natalie Reaser from the Armed Forces finally sat in her office after finishing a portion of her paperwork, It was harder for her to sort them out after losing her second hand, Commodore Charlotte Brooks. Papers were stacks on the edge of her office.
However, It was not that concerned her. She was waiting for Fleet Admiral Michelle O'Brian to show up after inviting her to Ark Royal for some discussion, As she takes a sip from her coffee, The door slowly opens. putting her coffee mug on the table she stands up with a smile to greet the arriving Fleet Admiral.

Two soldiers filed through the door, standing either side of it. As they snapped to attention with their rifles balanced against their shoulder, Michelle stepped through. She smiled lightly, looking around the office
Not too shabby...
She muttered quietly to herself. Right now, she couldn't afford to be fussy. The war meant Captains had less time to clean their own vessels between fights and maintenance evenings. She had to make do with a little untidyness. Still, it was something she hoped to change, but she was glad her board still kept their vessels spick and span.
Having reached Reaser, Michelle grabbed her outstretched hand, shaking it firmly.

She looked at the coffee as she sat, wrinkling her nose

As Natalie shook O'Brian's hand back with a smile on her faced, she looks at the guards standing firmly by the door. "I see you got your own protection, too." Sitting down on her chair after O'Brian, she takes a sip from her coffee, chuckling on O'Brian's comment regarding the drink she smiles "Why are you lots so... against coffee? Especially Hall, I suppose that I'll get in a fight with him sometime regarding his might Tea... Anyway..." She leans down under her desk slightly opening a small refrigerator, holding a bottle of beer in her hand. handing it to O'Brian after opening it.
"So here's you beer. Not a fan of tea, so I don't have anyway. But I knew that you would line up with Hall about this, Anyway. Not going to waste your time here." She leans forward calmly grabbing her mug and taking a sip from it. Putting it back in it's place, she slowly crosses her fingers leaning forward on her desk. "So.... Brooks met a.... Kusarian, an exile to be exact in New London, He did attract her attention, As she and you might as well know, I got some sort of a liking on certain types of foreigners. I digged up the databases for logs regarding him, I was a bit surprised." She pauses a bit taking another sip from her coffee, and leaning back on her chair. "He appears to be a Bretonian, A half blood though, Bretonian father and a Kusarian mother. Born here in New London, but lived most of his years in Kusari." She sighs slightly "Anyway, I'll leave details for later, I actually........ invited him through Brooks to come here. I'd like to meet this person, And would like you to do so too. That is the reason why I invited you." She leans back putting a leg up on the other, taking another sip from her coffee mug, taking a look around her. "I'll just hop right to the point, I would like to have him in the Armed forces under my direct command - and Brooks' if she wants to . So, What do you say, O'Brian?" Charlotte walked into the room her two escorts wearing the deep blue beret of the 10th MacDuff Fleet. The cap badge glinted in the white light of Natalie's office. "Good day." She saluted, her escorts saluting with their rifles. Their right hands snapping instantly across to the side of the rifle as soon as the Fleet Admiral was spotted. "Is this a bad time, or?" She was only popping in to discuss training exercises in Newcastle with Natalie. It seemed something was happening, Natalie was smiling. Charlotte backed up and left some papers on Reaser's ever growing pile. Her desk had got awfully messy after she was put in command of MacDuff. Before she left she looked back around to check if she wasn't needed.

Takashi jumped out of his ship for inspection by the troops. being approached by a ranked officer escorted with a couple soldiers. The officer nods slightly clearing his throat "Mister Takeshi Sakata?" he exclaimed. Only a nod was received back by Takeshi in reply to the officers question. The officer glanced at the sword attached to Takeshi's waste "No weapons allowed, I'm afraid. The Admiral has an important person at her office." the officer said with a slight smile crossing his face. Takeshi removes the sword swiftly from his waste handing it calmly to the soldier escorting the officer. "Now, If you may please follow me to the Admiral's office, You are expected...." the officer slowly turned back and lead the way towards the headquarters, The Admiral's officer especially.

Taking a sip from her coffee, she smiles "Security is necessary indeed." leaning back a little, giving out a slight giggle"I have no interest in getting in a fight with Hall over anything. He's pretty damn scary sometimes, But also the most reliable and wise man in the Admiralty board, in addition to yourself of course." She smiles taking another sip moving her chair back a little "I expected that you would say such, I'll leave the interview for you. He's all yours, O'Brian." She looks at Brooks as she enters " 'Ey there Brooks. nice of you to join us. I hope that you're have easy times there?" she smiles slightly at Brooks, taking another beer and handing it calmly to Brooks before looking at her pad as it attracted her attention, a slight smile crosses her face. "And he should be here any moment now." A few seconds later the door is knocked, and opened slowly and quietly, as the officer enters with Takeshi into the office "Evening, Ma'am." the captain nodded to the fleet admiral then to brooks before moving his vision back to Reaser "Mister Takeshi has arrived." he said. Natalie looked at Takeshi examining him for a bit before looking back at the captain "I already can see that, Ashford. You may head back to your office now." she said turning her sight back at the Kusarian. staying silent, leaving all the talk to the Fleet Admiral.

"Kon'nichiwa...." his lips spelled, nothing more. as he looked at the three ladies in the office.

Michelle looks him up and down, waving her hand towards the chair beside her, indicating he sit. As he did so, she was pulling out her datapad, bringing up his file. Having found it, she then pinched a piece of blank paper and a pen from Natalies desk, also borrowing a log book to lean upon
Mister... Takeshi. Take a seat. I am Fleet Admiral Michelle O'Brian of Armed Forces command. It's not often some of our recruits get to have a face to face, so take that as you will. You will note Commodore Brooks and Admiral Reaser will be sitting in. They will leave questioning to me, but will aid my thoughts when we convene. I hope this is clear?

Good. Now, I won't be saying much myself. I'm going to leave you to talk. I'll just take notes, and give you any final questions at the end. At the end of this interview, you will be taken outside by my guards. the boys in the red coats, and the 10th Macduff guards, the boys with the blue berets. Whilst you await, we will convene, share notes, and I will make my verdict, at which point you will be brought back in and given my answer. My answer is final.

Brooks took the beer and sat down on an armchair which was located behind Reaser's desk. "Yes, not too shabby" She laughed. Her eyes were fixed on the door. Her guards were still standing to attention so she told them to stand easy. They exchanged looks with the Fleet Admiral's escorts as if they knew each other. While she was waiting she noticed that she hadn't taken her beret off so she tossed it onto Reaser's desk to which Natalie shook her head. He walked through the door, she smiled at him "Good day." She decided she would keep her mouth shut until she was needed.

Takeshi stayed silent once O'Brian finished, looking at Admiral Reaser behind the desk for a few before turning his vision back at Michelle "O'Brian-san, we have a mutual enemy, and that is what matters. But I will respond to your request. I am born in New London by a Bretonian father and a Kusarian Mother. a half blood you mat say. shortly after my birth, my small family headed back to Kusari to pursue my father's work. I have stayed and learned in a "Dojo" and a school to learn the ways of life, as my parents never predicted the war with Kusari to happen, my parents wanted me to learn the Kusarian way of life, I learned it in the dojo, But it was soon disrupted by the Tau wars, as we were locked down socially in Kusari. and soon after the war ended and the Exiles formed, we joined them. My father had to head back to Bretonia, but kept contact with us. While I stayed with the Exiles, and fought with them for years. However, The Exiles weakened over time, and are insufficient to help against the Gauls who robbed us from our peace."
He pauses looking at Brooks for a few before looking back the fleet admiral "However, The Armed Forces looked like the wisest option to choose, and fortunately I have met the Commodore, and there is someone who is willing to vouch for me and is interested in having me with her troops" He glances at Reaser. "O'Brian-Teitoku, I have the blood of a Bretonian and the heart of a true Kusarian, the corrupted and false Naval Forces are not what I require to serve nor the way I want to accomplish my goals in. The Exiles are weakened and no longer serve the purpose. I have combat experience, both on field and in space. I have no right to talk about my skills but you do. However, I can assure you confidently that you will not regret me in your ranks. Give me a sword or a gun, I'll see that what you require to be done, I'm light as a feather. I'm sure that you know how to place your own troops. This is all I have to say, It's up to you now." He slowly heads a few steps back towards the door stopping midway waiting in-case they had another requirement. as he tilt his head down a bit.

Michelle looks the young man once up and down. She nods, the her guards opening the door. They turn to face each other, allowing the MacDuff guards to leave, then Takeshi, then the 1st New London guards themselves. As soon as they had passed into the hall, indicating Takeshi take a seat on the bench facing the office, the door hissed shut. Michelle turned to look at Natalie and Charlotte.
Ladies. I have two comments, and two comments only. I'll lay them out, and give you my proposal. I need you to agree please. Then we shall call this young gentleman back in, and deliver the good news.

I'm not entirely convinced as yet. I feel he danced around my questions a little too much. My second point, Natalie, is I fear there will be a conflict of interest if Mister Takeshi was to fall under your command.
This leads to my proposal. Mister Takeshi will be assigned to the 1st New London fleet. As such, he will fall direct under my watchful eye. Here, he will have a chance to prove himself, and for me to be entirely convinced that a conflict of interests is not something to fear. If these two items can be fulfilled, then we can look at transfer papers pertaining to another fleet.
