This is not a solution of a problem. It still is not counter tactic to jumping away.. And tha one is still uncounterable..So problem still exists..

I don't see the difference between using a JD and making it to a jumphole.

you cant reasonably pursue a JD

Employing capital ships is a solution to this problem. JumpDriving is perfectly counterable by Cloaking.

With current ZOI limitations, there's no way you can pursue Liberty ships entering NY gates as Rheinlander, or Rheinland ships entering NB gates as Libertonian. I guess you want them to be PvP dead as well.
But, that's not the point. Point is, you can't pursue a JD'er, but killing him isn't something hard. Or killing other ships from the fleet before he comes back - just stop shooting and immediatelly switch your target when you see that white aura. The cargo balance is such, that in most cases once activated, in few seconds JumpDrive charging cannot be disabled without losing ability to jump. Hence he either jumps out with half of his hull/nanobots still intact, or stays in fight and loses ability to jump.

And if it's a lone battleship without a CDer. Well, duh, have fun pewing at that sitting duck, without having a chance to get killed in the process.
