my speculation, he's gonna do these events as they link in to the next update. this was the first one and it's going into lore that ships went out to get data about nomad offensive.

This was a test to see if micro-events can be done without planning. Imho, it was a success.

Nah, this was just a fun little event that Spazzy cooked up. I wouldn't mind doing these once in awhile if there was enough interest. Kudos to all who joined. I had a blast. I honestly didn't expect any survivors, but Kusari allies came through in the nick of time and saved the Liberty lawfuls. Nomads, and their allies, quickly intercepted the Classified intel though, so it looks like the mission wasn't a complete success. Better luck next time.

Nah, I can't take all of the credit. It was the LNS peeps sitting outside Manhattan, who said that they'd like a trip to iota like a month ago. This time I simply suggested we added some random RP to it and use the universal chat to inform other players that something out there is stirring.
And stir it did!
Again, big kudos to Jax, who miraculously was at home and was able to get ingame as well as both sides of the conflict. It was damn fun and I'd like more micro-events with admin involvement like this happening.
