Imagine.

(Provided we do not take Extended Intro into account.)

The Alliance has the upper hand. The Coalition is now a nation that is endangered, losing sector by sector. And the final besieged place is area around Neptune. The colony ships of Coalition nations were sent into Sirius Systems.

Neptune falls and Alliance is victorious, peace is flourishing once again.

But not for too long...

Former friends eventually turns on each other, engulfed into new wars. But far of the great yet another war of mankind, several ships flies into unknown regions of Sirius Sector. The Siberia (USSR), the Seljuk (Middle-East), the Zhou (PRC), the Moravia (Ugroslavic nations), the Partei (East Germany).

After all planetfalls, five nations went through many changes, finally establishing Siberian Democratic Republic, Free Seljuk States, Zhou Empire and Moravic Confederation. CCR Partei somehow arrived as the last one, with broken engine and gave birth to the single colony with many bases around and ties inside all other major houses - Edge World Union.

What do you think about the mirror universe of the Freelancer?

Well.

To be honest you just swapped names around in this idea. Maybe there could be more interesting thing like Nomads arriving earlier and Coalition ally with Alliance in face of new threat but can't hold the Sol and retreat to Sirius sector together on overloaded sleeper ships. Then they scatter around the sector trying to build up the defence knowing of nomad threat but being not aware of what they are to face - nomads are the enemy withing the humanity already. And bla bla

The ship Moravia consists of the all nations from the Eastern Europe and Balkans, so Poles, Czech, Slovakians, Hungarians, Yugoslovanians (that's why they formed nations instead of one big house with one culture, however united). I couldn't pick a better name for the ship, since Silesia would be more confused with Siberia, so I ended up with Moravia, as Czecho-Moravian Kingdom was kinda big.

Any other proposal on a name?

Baltic States are of course included, but I'm thinking if they are either on Siberia or Moravia ships.

Your idea is even better, hah! However, it doesn't follow the "canonic" version of Freelancer, since the Nomads were activated by Rheinland expedition and I believe Extended Intro was scrapped.
