Question about the freelancer ID. - rivaan - 01-16-2015

So I've been playing for a while and when I decided to fly a bomber, I noticed there is no bomber mentioned in the freelancer ID. I checked the wiki, but there it says freelancers can use bombers. Is that info on the wiki outdated and now not allowed to use bomber as a freelancer?
I give my thanks in advance!

It is because a bomber falls into the "fighter" category on the ID's. Confusing, I know.

You are fine to use bombers on an ID that allows fighters.

Avoid the wiki, horribly out of date

Also, in the future, if you are wondering: Liners counts as "transports" on the ID's.

Thanks to Conrad, there's more up-to-date information that can be found HERE.

Some other tools to check recent info are:
FLStat (tutorial by @Snak3)
FLCompanion (tutorial by @"John Wildkins")

Note that some changes to IDs and commodities are actually made server-side, like the recent Pirate ID change, so the above tools won't always reflect that. Until the mod and wiki updates, the only way to be 100% certain is to check in-game.
