Samura and Kishiro/GMG - Sigma Campaign - Fluffyball - 05-10-2015
Note this is only idea and not plan for actual campaign, just a template proposition on how whole idea would be brought into life.
With new Military/Intel/Police ID changes (as KNF is unable to take care about Tau-29 for example), I was thinking over about the idea in which Kishiro-GMG and Samura-Hogosha forces would be included into campaign that would take place in three systems: Okinawa, Sigma-19 and Sigma-17. It could start to boil up from a minor skirmish in Sigma-13 (be it harrasment of either Kishiro or Samura convoy in GMG space) and spill over onto Sigma-19, Sigma-17 (Samura colony with GMG in the next system) and Okinawa (GMG colony with Hogosha foothold).
Series of mini events would start from minor skirmishes in Sigma-13 and would soon spill out into major conflict over, as e.g. GMG would finally lose their patience and try to harass or even capture Samura colony in Sigma-17, with Hogosha and Samura trying to harass Okinawa mining operations in retaliation for loses in their own foothold in Sigmas.
It would be mostly start from either GMG-Samura engagements or Kishiro-Samura engagements in Sigmas, turning into more bloody conflct outside Kusari and Sigma-13 and either side trying to put final nail inside Sigmas once it for all. All the alliances would join up into the conflict, as they would be more or less influenced by various outcomes.
Teoretical template plan for such campaign with eventual outcomes one after another.
1. Skirmish in Sigma-13, being slow downfall into deterioration of neutral relations, as either Samura or Kishiro convoy gets destroyed - with some retaliation skirmishes, if it were Samuran convoys.
2. GMG loses temper and try to get rid of Samura influence inside Sigma-13 and Sigma-19.
3. Skirmishes in Sigma-19 for control over the system, as both sides have their respective footholds, allied trade routes and smuggling routes.
4. Samura colony in Sigma-17 and its convoys would be harmed by mutual GMG-Kishiro operations.
5. GMG colony and mining operations in Okinawa would be harassed by Hogosha-Samura forces in retaliation.
6. Both sides would finally snap and put series of operation to destroy or capture either colony with lethal force.
I don't know, this was my idea for longterm campaign that would last pretty long and bring activity into Sigmas - and continue vanillia-old feud between Samura and Kishiro.
