Durban Station Meeting (// Me and Core| HC) - An'shur - 05-17-2015

The RNC-Herschel passes through the countless Core defenses near the jump hole leading back to Omicron Delta. It's on course to Durban station. With very important data onboard the cruiser under protection of the Black legionaries, nothing much happens on the route, which is good for a task of such importance.

View from the bridge is amazing. The crew has certainly a good time viewing the stars, green nebulae far away in all directions and some less significant bodies inside Rho itself. Commander of the cruiser, Flottillenadmiral Karl von Schlafenberg stands silently, like a statue on the bridge and drinks his warm coffee. Suddenly he turns to his navigation officer, Wilhelm Hoffmann, and with a light tint at start, he asks with no emotions: "How far to Durban Herr Hoffmann?" Bald navigation officer turns around and with light humour says: "Twenty five clicks and we can take a nap sir"

The Core installation looks jawdropping, not like if the Admiral have never seen anything that big, but he have never been in Omicron Rho, like anyone else onboard the Herschel, he have never seen anything looking so foreign, not counting the Nomads of course. "Here we are" says Hoffmann. Schlafenberg replies: "Set the orbit to two thousand meters from the base, send them mooring request and wait. I don't think we will wait long, according to the fact that we are being awaited" Who knows, maybe the nap which is the navigation officer waiting for must wait a little.

"How much longer until they arrive?" Erik Nodtviet asks, turning to the station admin.

"Not long now, twenty clicks" answers the station admin.

Erik gazes out through the large station window at the impending Rheinland Cruiser approaching Durban. He turns to a console that stands adjacent to him, leans forward towards it and begins to speak. "Greetings, Flottillenadmiral Karl von Schlafenberg, we have been expecting you. The dock masters have cleared you for your arrival, please enter via the front hangar". He moves away from the console and resumes his stance, excitedly awaiting the arrival of his guests.

"Guten Tag Herr Guildmaster, pleasure to hear you again. I will be waiting for you in the hangar bay" Says the Flottillenadmiral. As the Herschel moors with the station's hangar, the Admiral grabs a key from his pocket. He comes to the control console and opens a strongbox, where a little suitcase is hidden. With the suitcase, escorted by four lightly armed guards, the Admiral goes to the airlock. Soon after, along with his guards, he is staying in the massive hangar bay of the station, in a dark green uniform, with all his awards on the chest and the small suitcase which he holds with his hands.

Erik walks into the hangar bay, joined by two of his personal Paladins. Whilst the two Paladins don't show it, it's most likely that they are armed. Oddly, they are all dressed in fine clothes, most notably Erik in a black suit.
"Greetings, Flottillenadmiral, it's a pleasure" He puts out his hand for a handshake "It's good to see another Rhienlander on Durban station, call me a patriot" He chuckles.

The Admiral leaves the suitcase in his left hand only, while he uses the right one to formally greet the Guildmaster by shaking his hand. Schlafenberg puts a smile under his mustache and says: "Guten Tag Herr Guildmaster" Pauses for a second and grabs the suitcase with both hands again. "So you are a Rheinland denizen too? Nice to see you personally" He looks down at the suitcase and rises it up "We have to talk about something and I suppose you can already guess what is inside. These data will show you how serious the situation is. I can follow you into a meeting room or other appropriate place. This may be a long discussion so we should sit down somewhere" The Admiral smiles again and scratches his chin gently.

"Why yes, Mr. von Schlafenberg" the Guildmaster replied. Erik turns and points to an evevator. "Right this way then, Flottillenadmiral. The elevator will take us to a higher level, one with enhanced security and several rooms suitable for such data to be presented discreetly".

Erik gestures towards the elevator, and soon the Buro and Core party head into the elevator. After a brief journey, they arrive at level 3 of Durban station.

Erik takes the lead, followed by his Paladins whom are followed by the Buro, down the corridor. The group pass several rooms, many of which have windows that allow viewing from the corridor. Whereas some of the rooms gave public viewing to the odd cluster of Core personnel in discussion, several of the rooms had blackened windows. When passing them, quiet but muffled voices could be heard.

Eventually, the group reach a door. It opens and Erik and Karl enter. The Paladins stay outside, and keep watch over the door.

A medium circular table sits in the center of the room, with several chairs that stand around it. Erik moves forward and takes at seat at one end of the table. "Join me, Flottillenadmiral" Erik said, pointing towards the chair on the opposite end of the table.

The Black legion guards stand outside of the meeting room, along with the Paladins.

Flottillenadmiral walks towards the chair and sits down. He puts the suitcase on the table and for a brief moment, he doesn't exacty know how to start his speech to the Guildmaster, he stares at the walls and celling of the dark, but pleasantly looking meeting room. After few seconds, he tips himself right, so he's able to point his hazel eyes directly at Erik around the seemingly holographic projection of something what in Karl's opinion, represents some planets in Omicron Rho and finally starts the speech: "It was a long journey to your base from my Homeland. Luckily, I got there safely, without being annoyed by various vermin inhabiting the Omicrons, including one special sort, about which we are going to talk about"

"You know them better than anyone around several light years. Yes, I am talking about the Order" He sighs silently, while ticking his fingers on the suitcase. "They have been quite.. let's say misbehaving during the last few months and weeks. One of the most villainous acts from their side was their attack on Rheinwehr and Buro ships, including my personality. I know that your relations with these so called protectors of humanity is not really good, same as our" Karl stops the sentence with a light flavour of sarcasm.

"Before going into deeper details, Herr Nodtviet, I must ask you. What exactly is your pose towards the Order and how extensively do you work against this terrorist organization both in the Omicrons and outside your general interest?"

RE: Durban Station Meeting (// Me and Core| HC) - Lythrilux - 06-12-2015

Erik lightly chuckled at Karl's mention of The Order. "Wherever we wish to conduct our operations, The Order always seem intent on meddling" He leans forward onto the table and rests his elbows there "Thus, we've made a habit of exterminating them. We seek to crush their organization and reduce them to ruin" He says with a devilish grin on his face. "Their tyranny does not end their either however, Flottillenadmiral. Across of all Sirius they wish to disturb the peace with their terrorism, attacking all in their path. We've made it our objective to stop them, wherever they are. We are the true Protectors of Humanity, they are simply unlawful scum".

"It saddens me that Rheinland is the latest house to suffer the brunt of their attacks. We do try to protect your borders as much as possible, and I take responsibility if they were able to slip through" Erik's expression adjusts to one of slight remorse.

RE: Durban Station Meeting (// Me and Core| HC) - An'shur - 06-13-2015

"I have to agree with your fully justifiable point of view on them. I need to show you something" He stands up, grabs the suitcase with his right hand and walks to a chair on the Guildmaster's left, where he sits down. The Admiral then pulls a little key out of some hidden pocket of his dark green jacket and opens the suitcase, which turns out to be a portable computer and holographic projector. He then presses a few of buttons and suddenly a projection of text and various photographs appears above the opened suitcase.

"Now you see it yourself Herr Nodtviet. This is why I came here. I would like to ensure that Rheinland is save from these rats. As soon as I return home, I am going to redirect part of the Unterseeflotte to Omicrons. In my proposal, this fleet will be stationed at Dabadoru station in Omicron Delta and hopefully keeping the Order away from Rheinland. Unfortunately, we can't afford sending too many of our ships here, because we have our internal problems in Rheinland. One problems less, the Order, would be appreciated. Seems like it's the right time to reclassify our already working military agreement and form a close military pact. What do you think? The Buro would like to gather more knowledge about the discussed terrorist organization in advance, so if the Core has some intel to share, please tell me about their hideouts, tactics and possible weaknesses"

RE: Durban Station Meeting (// Me and Core| HC) - Lythrilux - 06-26-2015

Erik grins at the appearance of the hologram. "Funnily enough Flottillenadmiral we've already interacted with these political terrorists from Rheinland. We've even shot them. We know of their ties to The Order. In an interaction with them, they stated that The Order was constructing a vessel for them...". Erik turns and smiles at Carl. "Do not worry, Mr. von Schlafenberg, we've put this group on our KoS list. We'll ensure that they feel the full consequences of assisting The Order and being an enemy of Rheinland".

Erik proceeds to the next topic of conversation. "We'll welcome the assistance from the Buro to Dabadoru Station. We'll happily assist them in keeping The Order away from Rheinland's borders - it's part of our Modus Operandi anyway. We'll keep them under our watch and ensure their safety and ensure the downfall of their enemies. I'd say a military pact would be a good idea, for both of us".

Erik gets leans back in his chair and rests his head on his fist. "The Core are doing great things out here, Flottillenadmiral. Change is finally coming to the Edge Worlds. With your support, our agenda will come closer to fruition".
