Ships that use only X & Y co-ordinates to move - Unlucky_Soul - 05-29-2015

Is it possible to code certain ships to move only on a plane, i.e x& Y co-ordinates and not the Z co-ordinates?

Just curious

You could macro key such a thing. Having your Z cords muted.

I was thinking like FL hook sort of thing.

Rather a ship that cant move up like a space ship, rather like a ground vehicle

... No.

Land Vech in disco? Again, a hook could work, but wouldn't be any different of a theory than muting Z. To me it'd be the simplest form. Unless you want land and air than I would say create a component that is in marriage with FL hook, like the cloaking device, and again mute the Z. FL ships are bases on momentum force and the mouse flight controls does limit what you can do in fastest form.

What do you intend to do with such a thing?

I guess zero strafe speed (or no vertical strafing) coupled with zero degrees of turn rate in the z axis could do the job?
