Player Sanctioned: Dragoner|NitroNorbert - Hawk - 06-09-2015
Dragoner|NitroNorbert has been sanctioned for:
Quote: 3.2 A player who was killed during a PvP fight in any form, must not enter the system where the fight took place or re-engage the attacker(s) for 2 hours from the time of their destruction, or until this/these ship(s) leave(s) the game.
3.4 Fleeing from combat and then docking at a station or planet while you are in 10k range of the ship you were fighting counts as PvP death. Freighters and transports in this case may return to the system for the sole purpose of trading.
Consequences:
If you are in a fight and you dock within range of your opponents, this counts as a death. That means you are not allowed to come back and re-engage. Your guns have fallen off and a sanction notice has been placed in your hold.

Greetings Hawk,
First of all thank you for the sanction notification in my Cargo hold. I would have no idea what hit me if not for that notification.
I am a quite new member of both, the Forum/Wiki and the Disco Mod, so I beg for some mercy considering my style of answer.
Before I was involved in any PvP I read the Server rules and still was not sure about the practice of every single of them. Obviously I still did some mistakes while trying my best to behave correctly as ID, IFF and Server rules demand.
I was sanctioned nonetheless and accept the punishment but I still want to learn from this, so this mistakes will not happen again. When I want to make sure that I understand my misbehavior correctly I need more information about what I initially did wrong. As I said I read and understood the rules and tried my best to follow them. I even asked some of my 'enemies' after my PvP fights if my fighting/fleeing etc. behavior was correct and received positive answers. As for my knowledge my ship did not engage in any combat where I was killed (or fled from and docked - with enemies closer than 10k) within the time span of 2 hours.
The mistakes I made and was informed via //messages, I excused for directly ingame to the players.
If you could tell me more about the initial mistake which led to the sanction I would be more than happy. For now, I am just confused and not able to identify the situation this sanction could refer to.

When you fight someone and your shield goes below 50% and then you dock at a base with them around, you're dead. You can't engage them for the next 2 hours, and if they stay in the system, you have to leave without interacting with them.
In this case, you were shot at, docked, and then came back out to fight again.
When in doubt, leave the system and don't interact with the poeple who shot you before.
