NPC Base redesign request thread - Closed - sindroms - 07-08-2015 Okay, since I am starting to make more and more of these, this thread will serve as the actual feedback and resource thread for the whole thing. So that @Echo 7-7 doesn't have to be spammed by ini file transfers 8| NOTE: I am taking requests for base changes. If you are an official faction leader and wish to have your bases edited, you must provide me with a detailed-enough description of what you want to be changed. It should be noted, however, that I am not responsible for getting the changes done to the mod. All I do is make you the INI with the new base layout and it is up to you to get the devs to implement it. Devs may ask additional changes to be done to the base. This thread can also be used to point out some sort of existing mistakes to NPC bases that needs fixing. Current list of projects: Goose Creek Shipyard - Coronado (Liberty Rogues LR-) : Finished Waiting for changes to the Coronado system. Alcatraz Depot - California (Liberty Rogues LR-) : Finished, dev review pending. Jakarta Orbital Facility - Tau 44 (IMG| ) : Finished Spyglass Network IRP Representation for LH (Various Bases) Valetta Shipyard - Omicron Alpha (Crimson Cross) : Work in Progress ------------------------ (Lane Hackers LH~) : Work in Progress Feedback is always appreciated. RE: NPC Base redesign request thread - Independent Miners Guild - 07-29-2015 The IMG leadership likes Spazzy's redesign of Jakarta and would like to see it in the game. Thank you for making it, Spazzy! Jack, for the IMG RE: NPC Base redesign request thread - Echo 7-7 - 07-29-2015 (07-29-2015, 01:20 PM)Independent Miners Guild Wrote: The IMG leadership likes Spazzy's redesign of Jakarta and would like to see it in the game. That one will need to go back to the drawing board. One of the Jakarta-side fighter bays is blocked by one of the cross-beams, and the nearby tanks are too close to the mooring point for larger vessels, and the ones further away might be in line with undocking transports. (Also, Jack, make sure you file the request in the correct place next time.) RE: NPC Base redesign request thread - Independent Miners Guild - 07-29-2015 Spazzzeeeeh! Plis help! Tnx for the fast feedback. We'll try and fix it asap. RE: NPC Base redesign request thread - sindroms - 07-29-2015 I sat outside the damn thing for 30 minutes, documenting NPC ships, both large and small, docking and undocking from it and there did not seem to be any issues with the port, even though it was rather close. Not that it matters now that we have the stuck command, but yes, will see what I can do with it! RE: NPC Base redesign request thread - sindroms - 07-30-2015 Jakarta-Singapore mix updated. Moved both base constructions upwards to avoid problems with quickdocks. The Singapore's smaller mooring construction has no impact on snub docking. Tested it with a spatial even. RE: NPC Base redesign request thread - Independent Miners Guild - 07-30-2015 Tnx Spazzy! I resubmitted it.
