I am not sure if anyone is familiar with that game (hell, you won't find any walkthrough or gameplay on the youtube nowadays). It is a linear sci-fi action sim game that went quite silent. The game is simple: you are a space pilot of the Carolan Republic, whose nation is allied with Eridani Confederation (having some Polish-named ships for some odd reason) and in the early stages player is fighting the Nolledah Nation.

The story begins in the middle of the Carolan-Eridani campaign to stop Nolledah, which is only prelude to the later main story. Needless to say that Carolan-Eridani alliance is pretty strained when that conflict ends, since Eridani Bombers raze the most populated Nolledah planet with nukes and no one in Carolan Navy knew about it prior the operation. The later game turns into mysterious conflict against the alien race, later recognized as Ralegh, which ressembles the Battlestar Galactica, with rag-tag fleet floating around the sector - there's also a moment in which Carolan and Eridani fleets turn on each other.

What is so special about that game? Mission division. Or rather, game division into episodes. Unlike the other titles, the game actually consists of 14 episodes, 4 missions each. Every episode begins and ends with climatic theme and credits, with Halcyon Sun (the flagship of Carolan Navy) flying around. The plot is also interesting because of huge number of cinematics before, between and at the end of the missions - despite them being pretty ugly today as the game's engine was used (think of GTA3), the acting is actually good for a budget-like game. But it is understandable for the over 13 years old game.

Hm, I am intrigued. Let me see youtube vids on it (No matter what OP says).

Okay, I failed.

Yeah, I only know about this game, because I have it on the CD that dates back to the 2004 magazine about the PC Gaming (Poles in here might recognize it, as it was dual release alongside with Eurofighter Typhoon). Despite it having ugly cutscenes, plot was pretty good and some plot-twists were actually pretty well-made.

If I find the CD, maybe we could do something out.

There's a sort of trial version with Ep 1 + 2 in here. I'm not sure if it works...
