Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - TheSauron - 01-03-2016

Only a small, lone dragon was wandering the sky over the shores of a small sea. The weather was good, with little clouds covering the orange skies and the bright, hot sun of Saar. The vegetation covering the immense plains was rather humble, with nothing larger than a small tree rising above the ground. The gentle breeze coming from the sea was of no influence to the dragon that lazily circled above a small river cutting the plains in half and later falling into the sea. The dragon lowered himself over time, his wings largely static, only occasionally making a small move to correct his course. In contrast with his rather hin body, the dragon's wings and tail were of consirderable size, with the tail and back covered with a row of small spikes. The reddish lighting of the entire world made it hard to determine the exact colour of it's skin, as it appeared black. Contrary to it's rather predatory appearance, the dragon was in fact herbivorous and was simply taking a look at the bushes growing on the sides of the river.

After a few minutes of descending the dragon finally landed on the ground with a quiet, muffed thud. Just after a few steps with his oddly short legs he spotter a suitable dinner. He didn't not manage to enjoy it for long, however, as shortly after he started to munch the first leaf a pair of roaring abominations flew over his head, forcing him to escape.

The pair of "abominations" was an odd one even without taking the equally odd place into consirderation. A Black Dragon was taking the lead, with it's red engine exhaust almost blending with the surroundings.

- Keeping up so far? - Flora looked back as much as her helmet and seatbelt allowed her to, checking if her companion's Caracal was still on her wing.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - Sean Renard - 01-03-2016

Caracal was easily following Black Dragon in close formation on the right wing. As Flora spoke it waved wings once before delivering a reply over voice comms.

- It is much easier then you think. - Sean spoke in a mocking maner and as a proof to his words made a full circle around Flora's Dragon, rolling his craft over to continuously track her with eyes and making sure that she sees most of that.

- See? No problems. - he says while grinning to himself and settling his craft on the previous position.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - TheSauron - 01-04-2016

Flora rolled her eyes, smiling under her helmet's breather.

- What a show-off... - she moved her attention from Sean's ship to the ground, looking for a suitable spot to land. She noticed a large clearing in the vegetation a dozen kilometers away. She turned her ship towards it and looked over the horizon. The entire view had a strong orange tint, with some small mountains being visible far away. She then slowly lowered her ship's altitude to the point of almost skimming the tips of the trees below. Her eyes were yet again stuck on the horizon, and the silence over the comms on confirmed that her mind drifted away.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - Sean Renard - 01-04-2016

Following off Flora to the tree level Sean have been introduced to the same sight. He rose the visor from his helmet to admire the view with bare eye. After a short while he turned his head to the Dragon on his left just to see Flora's look glued to the beauty in front of them.

- That's quite the sight... - Sean finaly broke silence, turning his head up front and leaning back in his seat.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - TheSauron - 01-04-2016

Sean apparently woke her up from a dreamy state. She looked over the horizon one last time, having a weird feeling that something changed. She shrugged it off and took a peek at Sean, noticing his head turning away.

- I didn't even take my helmet off... - she smirked slightly. After looking for the clearing again, she noticed they were already almost there, and suddenly began to slow her ship down. - Alright, we're... "here". This looks like a good place to land. - her ship fell behind Sean's Caracal. Flora turned her ship around as they passed the end of the clearing, taking a closer look, circling their destination.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - Sean Renard - 01-04-2016

Sean turned his head as much as his cockpit allows, checking the slowing Dragon, but instead of dropping speed as well went slightly off ahead and circled back.

- Do you see any of the dragons? It would be disastrous if they decide to join our little park walk... - he keeps the presumable landing spot to his left side while flying around it and carefully examining the surroundings, as well as checking position of Flora's ship.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - TheSauron - 01-04-2016

- Majority of them are herbivores. Not much to worry about. - her ship was still skimming the trees, circling the clearing in the opposite direction to Sean. - Besides, I bet your terrible showing off already scared away every single one on this part of the sea. - Flora slowed her ship down even more, taking a sharper turn above the grassland.

An inspection up close revealed that it was cut in half by a small river. She carefully examined the area around her chosen landing spot, not willing to land on anything too important or able to bite. A tense moment of trying to keep the ship stable followed, as Dragon's landing gear was barely reaching below the wings. Flora's anxiety was then replaced by relief as the ship gently set down, without breaking anything. At least, so it seemed. She exhaled audibly and turned her ship's engine off.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - Sean Renard - 01-04-2016

- What was so bad about my show off? - Sean playfully smiles to himself while following Flora for landing. Just as her ship reaches the ground Caracal touches down in a couple of meters away from Black Dragon. Before the reply came in Sean shut the power of the ship down, deciding to continue on the ground.

For some more time he kept sitting in his seat, checking the surroundings from up close, then took off his helmet, leaving it on the seat. As he is about to get off the ship, he remembers something and returns back inside. After a very short search in a tight cockpit he found his bundle with sweetmeats. Quickly throwing one in his mouth he took the bundle and headed off the ship.

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - TheSauron - 01-04-2016

Flora took her helmet off, giving the horizon yet another look before opening her belts and putting on the breathing mask. She then opened the canopy of her ship, letting the warm wind inside. She didn't bother with extending the ladder, simply jumping out of the cockpit. She blinked few times, getting acustomed to the high pressure of Saarburcken's atmosphere, before taking a deep breath. The warmth outside almost immediately forced her to get rid of the upper part of her flight suit. She threw it back into the ship, then turned towards the other ship few meters away. Flora then slowly approached the Caracal. She tilt her head slightly, approaching Sean.

- Quite a nice place for a first face-to-face meeting isn't it?

RE: Meanwhile, Saarbrucken. - Sean Renard - 01-04-2016

Straight off the ship Sean took the oxygen mask off and made a couple of sniffs. Quite instantly he brought the mask back to his face, holding it with one hand and eyeing approaching him Flora.

- If you call this face-to-face... - Sean said with a smile as he for an instant lift the mask up. - But sure enough, this place is very charming. To our first live meeting! - he says that in cheerful maner, holding out the bandle with sweets and quietly offering them to Flora while carefully examining her from head to toe.
