Hello ,
I'm a new player here .
I was flying in omicron-80 i docked the omicron alpha jumphole before the animation was going to start my ship got destroyed out of a sudden (weird ), and message said i was killed by an enemy vessel ,
I respawned at genoa base then i was normally flying my ship , it got destroyed out of nowhere and there's no single Npc ship around the system .
that's something very strange

Had you clicked the "ships" icon repeatedly without switching to something else? It doesn't show NPC ships if you do.

Did you die in the jumping sequence or just when flying around?
If former, did you F4 on any of the npcs around you? Since there's a minefield in the system, it's possible that you experienced the f4 bug where you die to mines or gas clouds in the jumping sequence.
If latter, it might be the thing Paladin mentioned above. You could be instakilled by a cap patrol / weapon platforms if you're in a weak ship. Or someone added instakill radiation fields in the system, like old Dublin was.

Could be lag, so you exploded in Omicron-80 minefield. Or if you are hostile to Outcasts, then Cap patrol or weapon platforms.

@ Antonio first time in jumping sequence and second time when I was flying around , and what is instakill radiation field ??
