Admiral, I'll skip the pleasantries.

At approximately 4:10 SMT during a live fire test for optimization of the Kebechet's main reactor, a Purifier-Class Nomad de-cloaked three clicks away from Sicca Shipyard in Omicron Epsilon. Our systems were not ready for a full on engagement with an alien of that caliber, yet we engaged nonetheless despite the significant risk it posed to us and our testing. The vessel was chased out once our attempts at luring it in to the station's firing range had failed and managed to cloak while our EM-Wave Generator was offline.

Now what I want to know is how it managed to breach our perimeter, slip past patrols during an era where technology exists to find the bastards when our eyes fail to, and get within combat range of one of our most well-defended installations in the sector and pose a risk to hundreds - if not thousands of lives as well as a key installation to our operations. More so how this isn't the first incursion to have occurred in to Protectorate space that has gone virtually unopposed by us. Where the hell are our assets and why did the Overwatch allow such a security breach to occur?

Commander.

If we will be skipping pleasantries, then so be it. I have been through a very trying summer, and instead of asking if I need help or how we can be of help, it's questioning the decisions of Overwatch. Normally I'd agree, but right now the bulk of the forces who came down to Coronado, the bulk of our forces who were doing their jobs. The Grand Admiral will be back in Mu within the next day, but that is beside the point. The point is, Commander, that we still hurt. The Core continue to encroach on our territory, our bastion. Our citadel. Cloaks are more prevalent but the means of detecting them costly and hard to mass produce. if you have a ready supply to combat a vastly more advanced force then by all means, Commander. Share.

When you're ready to discuss how we can redeploy our current Omicron Theatre assets to better combat our enemies without letting either enemy overreach and push into our territory, and not sit here saying we allowed such a thing, I will be here. We are fighting an enemy that is far beyond what we have ever encountered before, and over the two decades we studied them they have studied and grown as well. You should know this. No defense will ever be perfect, nor will the Order be able to ever have perfect coverage. We are not the Liberty Navy, we are not Gallia. We have a small fleet, one we must work with and spread thin as necessary. It is not ideal, but unfortunately ships like the Osiris, the Svizra, or the Thebes don't grow on trees. This is a game of chess where we have a quarter of the pieces our enemies do, and unlike them, we cannot replace them so easily.

Assets should arrive Mu within the day. That will be all, Commander.

Admiral.

Attached to this message, you'll find a map of Epsilon marked two two blue circles indicating a suggested point to station the OCV Resheph and OCV Sesmu instead of their current holding patterns surrounding Sicca. Their sensors are capable of monitoring the entry points, and can easily be calibrated to watch for tachyon emissions. Increase patrols by ten percent around the vessels and divert their engine power to shields in case of an attack. This keeps the secondary and tertiary entry points on close observation and prevents another surprise attack.

The weapon platforms are more than a match for any incursion that makes it past those ships, and with the Canaan not far away, reinforcements are close. We are at war, and we shouldn't be shying away from our primary enemy or sending entire fleets in to the core worlds on ill-conceived rescue operations for anyone. Now that we've lost our footing and access to the Iridium deposits, we can't afford to risk security. There are foreign warships entrenching themselves around us. We are getting boxed in and we have no line of defense on our back door.
