Player List issue - Sombs - 11-08-2016

Is there any way to fix the system names in the Player List ingame? Like, when they are long, they will be shortened with "..." - in the Omicrons, I never know if people are in Omicron Mu or Minor or in Psi or Phi, thanks to the new system names. See here:

Perhaps you can try to edit HudShift.ini

Agreed , it would have much more sense to be named in style "Omic.Delta" instead "Omicron D." and like . Confused

Try to get your resolution up. 1600x900 is not really good for it. I am using 1920x1080 and it works fine.

Not everyone plays Freelancer on gaming equipment. I can't use a higher resolution than I use.

that's just your font. you seem to be missing some. just either get the fonts, or start the FL installer (menu only) then quit it.

or manually do it, http://drive.mrawr.net/FLFONTS.zip

I'm using 1280x960 and it works fine. Try to lower your resolution. Basically have some fun with resolution.

Also what Nyx said, your font is too big. I remember that one of my old graphic cards used to render it that way too. I had to fix it manually.

Way better, although it's not perfect. Thanks Nyx, didn't know I was missing fonts, since Agency FB was there anyway. Smile

toy with your res, otherwise it's pretty easy to guess the system
