PoBs | Question on weapon platforms - Sombs - 12-05-2016

Are there requirements for a PoB weapon platform to respawn, like money or commodities? Or do they simply always respawn after getting destroyed as long as the PoB lives?

The thing is, now that there is this bug with the platforms not shooting and people intentionally abusing the fact, like it was seen in the every Siege video I made so far, we need to find a solution to this bug. Fixing it would be one thing, but obviously it's not that easy, otherwise it would have been done already.

Maybe it would be easier to have people forced to destroy all weapon platforms first until they stop respawning, which would require them to have a limitation, be it money or commodities. I looked it up in the PoB Tutorial, but there isn't any requirement listed neccessary to have destroyed weapon platforms to respawn. If that is a given thing, a rule could be made to force the sieging team to destroy the defensive grid first instead of having them only shooting at weapon platforms as long as they are not bugged. Like, we have seen at Reutlingen how powerful the weapon platforms are and without repair ships, the Jorms would have died one after another.

No requirements, they just respawn.

I am curious if moving the weapon platform would get the bug to be fixed?
Someone can test that.

yes it do fix it temporal , but not for more than few seconds
So owners should stay in their bases and keep moving the defense arrays so it get re activated , which is boring, and non efficient
That bug is killing the POBs idea totally, and i think it's time to dump POBs from the server if it's not balanced at all like that
