Game shows only a black screen - TheKrazyCanuck - 02-26-2017
Today, I've been having a weird graphical issue that is showing up whenever I load into the game. When I select any of my characters on any of my accounts, It shows the docking screen for 1-2 seconds before going completely black. I can't alt-tab out or bring up my task manager without it instantly switching back over to Freelancer and the black screen. The only way to exit is by Alt-F4. Any ideas on what it may be, and maybe how to fix it?

The closest situation to your happens to me sometimes and I managed to resolve it in this way:
1.Close Freelancer
2.Start Freelancer
3.Select ANOTHER CHARACTER instead that "With that problem"
4.Disconnect and select the "correct" character

I always done this way: Alt + enter to make game in window, then back to the full screen - or vice versa.
