EARLY LIFE & BACKGROUND

Abigail Elizabeth Taylor was born to lower class parents in a storage compartment on Perth Station on June 1, 793 A.S. Her mother's name was Julia Taylor, and she did not have a job when Abigail was born. Julia was born in Liberty, and her father had met her and married her in 792 A.S. Her father, Owen Taylor, was from Dublin and was a construction contractor, and it was hard for him to hold a stable job. Their economic situation was terrible, and about a month before Abigail was born, their apartment on Planet Leeds fell into Foreclosure, and then after that they were evicted from their residence. They "moved" to Perth Station in 793 A.S, and Julia was pregnant at the time. They lived in a roomy storage compartment until Abigail was born. They paid the janitors to not tell the base staff that they lived there, and they somehow paid for food. Abigail was born shortly after they moved to the station.

Shortly after her birth, her father Owen found work on Planet Leeds, a full-time job in a construction firm that built ship parts. They moved there, and with her father's steady income, were able to move into a small apartment.

HARD TIMES

In 800 A.S, Abigail began her Primary Schooling at Black Pool Primary at seven years old. She didn't make many friends, and most of the children at school ridiculed her for being poor, and her mother not working. But, soon after, and fortunately, her father received a large pay raise because of the Nomad War, and the demand for ship parts was up during this time. Thus, they were able to afford a better place to live, and moved to a bigger apartment. She got sub-par grades in Primary School due to a lot of factors, mainly depression. But Secondary school was worse. In 807 A.S, she graduated Black Pool at fourteen years old, and started her schooling at Nottingham Secondary School, which she nicknamed "Hell". In her first year, she struggled to keep up with the demands for her school, and considered dropping out. Her parents, however, wouldn't allow this. But the situation got worse in her second year. She had few friends once again, and was bullied. But more extensively. This time, they ridiculed her about her looks and even would jump her at school. She had learned how to fight from her father, and that was because of the repeated physical attacks at school. One time in particular, her tormentors took it to another whole new level.

It was a cool Friday afternoon November 4th, 808 A.S. Abigail had just finished a particularly bad day at school, because she failed two tests and had had her lunch thrown in a gutter. She was walking home when a small rock hit her in the head. She always took a very sketchy route home from school, and getting things thrown at her wasn't too uncommon. But this time it wasn't your average passerby. This time, the people who threw the rocks were boys. She recognized them, to be friends of her bullies. Apparently, she had angered the girls at her school who bullied her, and they called upon their guy friends to teach her a lesson. When she saw them coming at her from behind, she quickened her pace. But they caught up to her and started to ask her questions. She was relieved. They were only there to talk to her and be friendly.

But she thought wrong. They gained her trust so that they could attack her with her guard down. They all jumped on her in a second. She put up a fight, and punched one of them hard enough that his tooth flew out. But it wasn't enough. There were ten boys, and that was too many. Before she could blink, they had her pinned to the ground. They proceeded to beat her and they attempted to rape her. But luckily enough, someone had seen it, and called the police. BPA police cars had arrived just as the boys were about to take advantage of her. The BPA officers told the boys to stop and put their hands up. One of the boys came at the officers with a knife, and the officers tased him, and the others took off before they could be incarcerated. They rushed her to the hospital as fast as possible. She was only fifteen years old.

REBOUND & DISASTER

After the incident in the alleyway, Abigail became very subdued. She had been a very talkative and open girl, but after that incident, she stopped talking and became more serious. She had suffered the broken ribs and a fractured collarbone, and well as emotional scarring. To this day, she remains reluctant to trust people right off the bat, and chooses to stay shy until fully knowing them. She thanked God that the boys didn't actually rape her, but the thought of it almost happening still gives her chills to this day. After this she had dropped out of Secondary School, and stayed at home for two years. But the joke was on those bullies in Secondary, as she became a gorgeous woman by adulthood, and it was in this time that she met Chad Anderson, her first ever boyfriend.

Chad Anderson was from Liberty. He was a six foot tall jock who became her boyfriend in 810 A.S. Chad wasn't, however, a jerk like most of the jocks in Liberty. He was a sweetheart, as Abigail put it. Even her father was satisfied with Chad, which said something. Owen Taylor was a strict parent, and had decreed in the Taylor household Abigail wasn't to have a boyfriend or date until she was eighteen. She was seventeen, but since Chad was, as Owen put it, "A good influence on her", he let them be together. Chad had helped Abigail see the good in life, and to not think about the past, and the day of the attack. Chad had eventually gotten her to the point of going back to school in 811 A.S. And so she did. She went back to Nottingham, and finished the year she dropped out as well as the other two with decent marks, and then proceeded to go to some form of university.

She was accepted to York University in 814 A.S. at the age of twenty-one. Her mother, during this year, finally got a job at a law firm based outside Bretonia, which she maintains to this day. Abigail was getting decent marks and was doing well in university. She couldn't decide what she wanted to do with herself, and so started majoring in Nursing, knowing it payed a lot and it interested her. In that year, however, her father, lost the job at the ship part manufacturer and got a job working for BMM, and traded ship parts throughout Bretonia. Abigail heard the stories of the pirates who raided her father's convoys, and felt sorry for the innocent traders who lost their lives, some of which were people she knew. On Christmas of 814 A.S Chad proposed to her, and they were engaged.

On March 17th in 814 A.S, her father had asked her to come on a trade mission to New London, and she asked Chad if he wanted to come. He agreed, but there wasn't enough room on the Shetland transport for him, and so he took his own ship. But, disaster struck. When they reached the lane to the New London Jumpgate, and got halfway through it, a convoy of Mollys disabled the lane and stopped them. Her father refused to give up the cargo, and Chad rushed in to attack the Mollys. He told Owen and Abigail that he would hold them off while they ran. She told him to stop and give them the cargo, but her father wasn't giving the pirates any cargo and Chad wasn't backing down. He was determined to fight for his girlfriend's honor and her father's honor. He was killed in front of Abigail by the Mollys. She and her father made it to New London, but Abigail felt crushed. Her to-be husband was dead.

MOVING OUT, ESCORT JOBS, & BMF BID

Abigail mourned Chad for some months after this. It crushed her spirits quite a lot, and she considered dropping out of University. But she was determined to prevail over her emotions, and not do what she had done in Secondary, and was determined to finish school. She graduated from York University in 818 A.S at the age of twenty-five, with a degree in Nursing. But things in Sirius were spiraling out of control. Her father lost his job once again, due to border disputes in Leeds that cut off trade. Then, shortly after, Gallic forces attacked Leeds. In the nick of time, Abigail's family escaped the planet and fled to Planet Cambridge, far from the conflict. They moved into another apartment and scratched out a living once again. Abigail tried, but failed to get any jobs as a nurse at local hospitals due to no job openings. Two years later in 820 A.S, her father found work once again, this time with Daumann Heavy Construction, and this job paid quite a lot of money, due to being dangerous and going through the Omega's. They were able to afford an actual house, and Abigail finally decided what she wanted to do with her life. She dropped the nursing career and set her path towards escort jobs. After seeing the heroics of Chad defending her and her father, she wanted to escort traders.

Abigail applied to DHC after her father got a job there. But her application was denied due to having no flight experience. But this didn't stop her. She took basic flight training courses on Cambridge, and had actually graduated third highest in her class. She had a talent for flying, which was unbeknownst to her until now. She took more classes, and became an excellent pilot. But she didn't have money for a decent ship. Finally, in 822 A.S after training, she applied to a local trading firm in Cambridge, which remains unnamed, and they supplied her with a Hawk and some credits. The salary paid extremely well, because she was escorting traders through very dangerous space in Bretonia. She excelled at her job, and once she had enough money, moved out of her parent's home into a house of her own on Cambridge. She kept this job until late 823 A.S, and after leaving it, purchased an Eagle for her 30th birthday.

In 824 A.S, at the age of thirty-one, she applied to the BMF firm, which was part of BMM. She finally had the proper qualifications to be able to join an official firm like her father. She was accepted shortly after, and has been there since. When her parents heard that she had gotten the job at the BMF, they were thrilled.

CURRENT STATUS

Currently, Abigail is employed as an escort for the BMF. She lives by herself on Cambridge, and can support herself. She has only done one mission, which was to escort a BMF trader named William Steiner to Omicron Alpha to pick up certain items from the Outcasts. The mission was a success. But for the first time since meeting Chad Anderson, she had made a friend. Well, two, actually. One being William Steiner, the convoy leader. But the other is more of a friend of a friend, named Edith.

PERSONALITY AND TRAITS

Abigail Elizabeth Taylor is thirty-one years of age, and fair skinned. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. She dresses moderately well, but not fancy by any means. She talks with a slight, slight Scottish accent. Her voice is medium to low in pitch and is soft and sweet in tone. She is about 1.77 meters tall and is in fit condition, due to the nature of her job. She has a lot of empathy for people, and feels sorry for people often. Ever since the attack on her when she was fourteen, she has been more introverted. She is more shy when meeting new people, but once she knows them, will open up to them. She is more outgoing and independent the more she knows someone. She cracks jokes often and makes light of bad situations, though sometimes it can come off as out of place and awkward. But her trust is hard to gain, still. She is currently looking for a husband as well. Abigail is an excellent fighter pilot, and can hold her own in hand to hand combat. As a qualified nurse, she has experience in tending to a variety of wounds, although given her lack of recent experience, her skills are slightly limited. She enjoys reading as an extra circular activity and studies flight tactics as well as diplomacy in Sirius.
