[FX Development Needed] Unioner Cruiser + Gunboat Gun FX - Enkidu - 04-30-2017

Hello there!

This is your chance to make something that definitely will get into Discovery Mod, if selected.

I'm in need of projectile + firing + impact VFX for Unioner Cruiser + Gunboat Guns. Think large, light green + dark green, plasma or ball-like projectiles with long blue-to-silver ring trails. Once done, I'll send them off to development.

Required FX:
- Cruiser blob gun.

- Gunboat blob gun.

- Gunboat forward gun (of Rheinland Gunboat ilk).


Projectile Hex codes:

#006400 (Dark Green)

#2E8B57 (seagreen)

Hex codes for trail (circles, hexagons or long, straight line):

#20B2AA (lightseagreen/dark turquoise/blue)

#c0c0c0 (Silver)

Crappy MS paint concept:

If the blue doesn't work out, feel free to substitute with Crimson. Cruiser FX need to look more "flare-y" and "Fire-y".


Trails: DULZIAN, with rings.

Projectile: JADE/EXCALIBER

scribble in MS paint or any other art program for what you visualise as the weapon to help clarify your explanation - or provide examples by showing parts of other guns?

Oh, and the effects wont be /for sure/ added, the guns are, sure, but not the effects - there's still quality control.

We've talked and he's going to give it a shot - I did some digging in the game files and found him some projectile templates. Would also be interested in seeing other people's takes, since it turns out we'll also need a GB forward gun projectile designed.
