Kusari Naval Forces
Naval Operations Headquarters
Auxiliary Division

The Auxiliary Division of the Naval Operations Headquarters is a section of the NOH specifically tasked with handling communications between the varying elements of home defence and reserve units of the Naval Forces. In addition, it serves as the NOHs channel to share relevant information with State Police and KOI assets.

In case of a national emergency and the formation of non-conventional military formations it is also responsible to ensure coordination between those and regular naval elements, as well as making assessments towards the capabilities and reliabilities of such paramilitary groups. In this its authorities go beyond that of the regular NOH as a mere relay for all sorts of military intel.

Subject: Battle in Sigma-21

Captain Imizuka reporting,

Yesterday the Rheinland military fleet did an attack on the Battlegroup Hyono. With two Bismarck and one battlecruiser they attacked the cruiser Executioner. With the coming of our fleet with the Yubari and the Fuso we counterattacked. The two Bismarck have been destroyed and also the battlecruiser.

However, a the rheinlander reinfocements came, but completely separated. We had the luck to have the help of the Yukong, the Niigata, the Himeji and of course our fighters and bombers. Once this first battle done we returned at the Hyono. Our long range scanner have detected some minutes after our victory another Military fleet near the Bayern. With our forces we went to the Bayern, met the enemy fleet and destroyed them.

In total the enemy suffered great loss. Even we lost several of our snubs, we didn't lose any of our capital ships during this great battle.

Captain Uzumaki, here for debriefing.

After much deliberation, the KNF.Kobayashi has agreed to a proactive scouting mission behind Rheinland lines, in the hopes that if it's ever needed, Kusari might have an optional backdoor to utilize.

Overall mission has been successful with very minimal, if any, losses.

The route we found starts from Sigma-17. After a little 'persuasion' from a few captured Corsair novice pilots, we were able to pinpoint the Omicron Theta jumphole. From there, a bribe from the Zoners in Freeport 9 later, and we've managed to uncover the rumor of a jumphole that didn't lead into the Corsair systems, a system known as Omega-58.

What the informant didn't tell us was that it was a dark matter system, where conventional scanners didn't work very far, we couldn't chart anything, and it was swarming with wild patrols backed by deadly scorpion gunboats. Thankfully, we only met isolated patrols, and with the dark matter interfering with comm equipment, dispatching them immediately prevented system-wide alert.

Below are the two waypoints where we consistently found the jumpholes out of the system, Waypoint-1 back to Omicron Theta, and Waypoint-2 forwards to Omega-55. Recommend not going straight through the middle, due to higher increases of radiation the deeper into the center we were, and not through the northern side due to harder and more frequent Wild patrols. Moving through the system at thruster-speed at most, and not cruise speed, makes sure we can alpha-strike any oncoming patrols.

We then charted Omega-55, and below is our basic report of the system.

We haven't tested the jumphole into Dresden yet, for fear of alerting any system-wide recon satellites, but a few stability tests indicate even battleships can pass through.

Below is a manifest of all the commodities, equipment, and captured pilotes we've tractored in and submitted to KNF Logistics department:

This concludes our report.
Uzumaki out.

Subject: Saigon battle

Captain Imizuka reporting,

Now the Rheinlanders have suffered great loss during the last days, we thought it was a good opportunity to take the control of Saigon area. We assembled a fleet with the IKN-Yugure, IKN-Niigata, IKN-Maya, IKN-Kobaya, IKN-Yukong, IKN-Shiroyama, and two cruisers Executioner and Kawa.No.Kami. Our bombers and fighters were here to support: [KNF]Ginza-2, [KNF]Matsu-17, Kotori.Minami, and also GMG, Hae.Won.Park and (GMG)Udu.

With our forces we moved to Saigon planet and took over the area. The Yugure made a scan of the planet's surface in that way to see if the Rheinlander were preparing or building major installations. The scan was negative. However we have detected orbital protections around the moon of Saigon with at least one battlecruiser of defense. It's maybe possible the Rheinlanders are preparing something on the moon.

Obviously the Rheinland Military was above to counterattack, and were decided to chase us of Saigon. Without lose time we have attacked the Rheinland Fleet at the Bayern. The Rheinland fleet collapsed and all their ships have been destroyed. During this battle the Yugure suffered serious damaged but is now operational.

During this operation we met a freelancer named John Silverstone. This guy was completely innocent, not far of the foolish and didn't want to leave the battlefield and our restricted area. Furthermore we have some reasons to think that he collaborates with the Rheinlanders. In fact, Silverstone must be now considered as a criminal and as a combat target.

October 16th, 827 (Hokkaido-Tohoku-O Epsilon)

Battlecruiser Hakkoda has been deployed to the system of Tohoku to provide the security of the quarantine zone and prevent trespassers. Before we reached the destination, a Rheinland Tirpitz-class battlecruiser was spotted at the Fort Wakkanai, Hokkaido. Said ship, RNC Tobias Schmidt managed to moor with the station with no permissions from the Naval authorities. The captain of her ignored all the warnings and kept docking procedure even under fire of ours.

The Captain of Rheinland battlecruiser tried to escape the interrogation by jumping through the nearest anomaly, but only violated the quarantine zone of Tohoku, which made his guilty even harder. They tried to retreat, but we managed to reach them near the jump hole to Omicron Epsilon. The decision to follow them has been made in haste, but we had no time for debates. The Hakkoda, Zuiryu and Hogosha Aio-Kai have entered the jump hole to Omicron Epsilon.

In Epsilon, the first we signed was the battlecruiser itself - they finally cease their retreat. However, a moment later, our close-range sensors have noticed a disturbance of the electromagnetic fields nearby: cloaking disruptor was engaged immediately, causing decloaking of Maltese dreadnought nearby the jump hole to Tohoku.

It seems like the Captain of this particular battlecruiser and Maltese mutants were in a conspiracy of some kind or just used a mutually-beneficial chance to get rid of Kusarian pursue. They both opened fire upon our forces, dragging Hakkoda and Zuiryu into combat.

As a result of short but harsh combat, both hostile ships were destroyed, Hakkoda suffered medium damage, while Zuiryu got several critical hits. We escorted the warship to the Kure shipyard, where we are located now for repairs.

Kaisho-ho Orochi, Naval Forces.

We bear news about the Keiretsu sub-division owned Sakura Tengoku Station in higher orbit of Planet Honshu.
The installation was found in critical condition. The worrisome silence from their side let to the decision to dismantle the station in a controlled manner.

Any and all law enforcing units are welcomed to join the evacuation and dismantling efforts starting in exactly twenty-four hours.
