In And Out Without a Doubt - Aoi Voilé - 08-17-2018

Within a matter of hours the intel had spread to every hijacked mind in Sirius faster than virius could ever hope to infect even the smallest host. It was quite late, and military traffic had begun to surge in an instant as Alexis waited for the right moment to order the R.N.S-Tarasque and several other Voile wings to strike. Every single one of the convoys was guarded, and that was offsetting for a number of reasons. They couldn't tell which was the one Enyalius' victim was so concerned about, until...

Something clicked in Alexis' brain, the timing was precise for the entry and exiting of every convoy through Orkney, they came exactly every 30 minutes in accordance with the stability of the Jumphole, and to their luck - the next looked to be their target. "It's this one." That was the que, the ship began to shift forward in front of the Jumphole, blocking it directly as they waited for the next convoy to approach within a matter of minutes. Alexis sat for a moment, pressing her two fingers against her temple to concentrate and signal for the bomber squadrons to move into position. It was a quick time frame - one they needed to fit perfectly.

"Royal Navy vessel Tarasque, this is Convoy R.N-443534, requesting clearance to proceed to tau-23. Submitting authorization codes now." "This is the Tarasque, you're clear to proceed." Alexis took her hand off the button opening the private communications channel, but the ship itself remained in place as the squadron of "Cougar" class bombers began to approach from the rear of the convoy. Alexis sat back, holstering the awkward silence as she communicated with the squadron through a much more "natural" means.

The sounds of screaming voices over the communications channel slowly faded away as she maintained concentration. The Bombers had disrupted the convoy, and were already working to dismantle the shielding systems so they could begin to board. The convoy, now lacking any fighter screens, had it's two gunships begin to turn towards the bomber squadrons - bent on protecting whatever the transports were carrying. "Now." With virtually no delay between her word and the guns of the Tarasque, the gunships surrounding the convoy met the full force of the Tarasque's arsenal. Alexis sat back and watched for a moment as the gunships were obliterated to all but nothing before latching the two Vache's onto the cruiser via tractor beam. Communications were gone, but life support remained aboard the vessels as they pulled the ships away into the Stronsay field.

The vessel came to a stop as the transport bulkheads were pulled in sync with that of the cruiser. Alexis was suited with nothing, nothing but a small knife in her hand. With no lighting in hallway she stood in, the hall began to illuminate slowly as the bulkheads opened. More than that, the hallway revealed a row of armed men and women. Gunshots rang off in the background as the captain of the transport did his best to seal of the ever-so-prized weaponry in the cargo bay next door. Just as the lock-down process was complete, the sounds stopped, but no radio chatter could be heard. Out of fear more than caution, he pulled out his sidearm, edging towards the door slowly just before it slid open. In through walked Alexis, with a knife and arm coated in blood from the now-deceased soldiers lying about in the background, some of them still twitching and shaking. Before the officer could even think to pull the trigger, he flet the blade enter his throat, followed by pints of blood leaking from his neck as his body collided with the floor. Stepping over his body, Alexis walked towards the cargo bay to find everything still in place, secured - just as it had intended to be.

"I have it, let's return home."
