In desperate effort of boosting the Covenant's defensive capabilities, the Inner Phalanx contacted the Red Hessians with a generous offer that no unlawful could refuse, scientific information on exotic weaponry to gain an upper advantage on their foes, along with a pile of money, to obtain two Hel Cruisers constructed in haste. The Hessians laid out their conditions as well as the required materials, the Covenant agreed and contributed to the construction project. Successfully obtaining the pair, the newly produced vessels received a new crew and training from the Red Hessian Army, now eagerly awaiting their return home, where they will be finalized with technological touch-ups before they start a new tale.


The early days of the Ixion and Cepheus will see their capabilities tested in live combat, testing for hazards and potentials areas for improvement before being deployed to the main fleet to defend the Covenant's people.

THE HEL

---

Through analysis, several issues have been identified with utilizing standard issue RH-GM461 Hel. Detailing the issues, we also seek to maximise their potential operational capabilities either by upgrading or creating new systems for the vessels.

With the recent discovery of the nearest supply point for MOX, Birmingham Station in Manchester, destroyed by the Gallic invasion, we are forced to enact with the replacement faster for the vessels. The Keeper has recently approved taking some Solid Azurite samples and Nomad Power Cells from the vault of technology, fortunately there is a plentiful amount of samples to replicate the [AXI-A-577 "LIGHTRIDER" MODIFIED IONSTREAM-MK2 PROTOTYPE] - and its generation system, allowing support and further optimisation to the power grid.

Spare Power Cells are being contained within the Vault as a backup measure.


-Tests reveal that the emission rate is optimized by 245%
-The Cell Chamber is charged up through a focused beam, and an injector infuses the cell with nanoids - manipulating the energy patterns.
-Energy production is up by 350% - enough to power the entirety of the vessel.
-During the initial test runs, there were two incidents that involved energy failures - these were overcome by applying an enhanced energy suppression field, overcharging it, and adding an additional two layers around the core.

For reinforcing the hull, we have been given scientific data from the Inner Phalanx concerning hazardous environments and optimising ways to resist hostile environments. From this, we can use iridium to treat the "Capital Armor Grade VIII" alloy compound.
