Game crashing after intro - Deadrose - 09-04-2020
I did a clean install, added video card vendor id and card id to flconfigdatabase(this fixed a boot problem) can't find a save or acctns folder to dlt. So stumped!!!!!
game boots and goes through intro. I see a screen flash up for an instant and can read Freelancer. 98% certain this is the menu screen, but before the menu buttons have time to load the screen goes black and exits the game. no popups no warnings or crash report.

The game has logs to diagnose these issues, route path is "C:\Users\youruser\AppData\Local\Freelancer\FLSpew.txt", that file should point out what is the issue and what file is causing the crash, my guess goes for DirectX libraries.

Hi, are you sure you are loading the freelancer discovery exe, as there is also the vanilla freelancer exe which does not work with disco mode and crash to the screen
