    Patrol around Rheinland and meeting Deterrence in Munich


Aktivist Paul Botzler and I met up in the Hamburg system and were soon joined by Aktivist Harald Lundstrom. We discussed how things were in Rheinland and also Herr Lundstrom mentioned some unknown contacts that he managed to avoid in Thuringa while he was on his way to Hamburg. I wondered if they might be aliens that i heard rumors about, and he said they were calling them Nomads. I was about to ask about them but Herr Botzler picked up a signal from New Ausburg in Munich. Apparently there were some Corsairs in-system. We set course and got there as soon as we could. Eventually, we found the Cretians near the large dark matter storm at the galactic eastern side of the system. Apparently they were part of a group known as Detterence. They were engaged with the local military forces. Botzler asked if they were going to leave to which they said as soon as their military operation was concluded. Us and the Cretians discussed the Cretians alliance with the Unioners, which made us confused as the Unioners used toxic gases on civilians. Botzler was disgusted at the news, and I can't say i blame him. I am not a fan of these tactics myself, they are revolting. The Cretians didn't seem to like us as they dislike how they think we are preaching at them. Eventually we decided to leave and suprisingly the Cretians let us leave in peace. We headed back to Bruchsal. On our way back we found a Military operative, but he ran away. We finished our trip to Bruchal and docked up.

We should keep an eye out for more Cretians so they don't cause too much havoc in Rheinland.

Below you will find the mission report on the defense of Bruchsal station yesterday.

    Alerts rang around Bruchsal. Capital ship and its escort were detected and subsequently destroyed for shooting fellow aktivisten.

Alarms started blaring aboard Bruchsal base. When I launched in my bomber, the Military Fighter was just shot down by Lukas Klotz. We subsequently took action against the Battlecruiser, and managed to terminate it. They had attacked the activists outside Bruchsal, hence why I jumped into action, rather than try to dissuade them from attacking.

Attached to this report is a gun camera image of the Battlecruiser popping.

Fellow activists,

The last few weeks have been filled with unbreakable effort and incredible dedication. You have already given so much more for this movement than could be asked of you. Our movement has grown, new, brave and courageous people have joined us to take decisive action against the regime. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you.

I would also like to take this moment to welcome our new members. Some of you I have already met in person and those I have not yet had the chance to talk to, I hope to have the pleasure to do so as soon as possible.

I would like to say something to the following activists in particular.

Tobias Schmidt - I would like to thank you for escorting me and Aktivist Weser in the Munich system, near the Deterrence Corsairs. I admire your will to learn and grow. I hope you will stay with us for a long time.

Karl-Heinrich Weser - I was able to rely on you after just a short while. Not only do you contribute substantially to the understanding and spreading of our cause, but you have also already added another member to our ranks. Thank you very much.

Benno Ohnesorg and Sabrina Niedrig - You have been part of our movement for a little longer, I thank you for your invaluable service and willingness to engage with our newcomers. I have heard nothing but good things about your efforts.

Harald Lundstrom - You have also provided great service to the New Resistance Movement after only a short time. You saved the lives of not only us but the rest of the Bundschuh on Bruchsal when you heroically held off the Rheinland Imperial Navy.

Steve Harlow- You have been with the Bundschuh for quite some time. I have heard your name mentioned in good association with the VWA. I speak for all of us when I say that we are fortunate to have such an experienced activist as you on our side.

Felix Linke and Karoline Kruse - I welcome you both to our ranks. I hope you can quickly settle into our sometimes very chaotic movement and do your part to move us forward. I hope to be able to fly a lot more with you.

Now, however, a bit of somewhat less pleasant news. The supply situation is coming to a head. Our supplies are running low and Chairowman Ms. Merryweather is not pleased with the tentative successes we are having over them. We need food, water, consumer goods, and any sort of fuel for our ships. In addition, miscellaneous equipment. A more detailed course of action will be presented soon by Ms. Merryweather.

Until then, however, I wish you every success.

Just now I encountered a Hel cruiser of the Unioners, commanded by a member of the leadership, Klaus Adler. I spoke for a short moment with Herr Adler, even if the expression seemed very rustical, Herr Adler had assured me that the current Unioner group would not act hostile to the Bundschuh by itself. Accordingly, I hereby instruct all activists not to open fire on Unioners and to treat them similarly to other Rheinland citizens until the diplomatic situation between our groups is clearer.

I hope you are all well and holding out there in space. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your kind words Herr Botzler. I've not been with the movement for as long as other Aktivists have, but that does not stop me from trying to support the just cause to the fulliest of my abilities. As you'll be able to find out by the logs that will be attached to this report, I believe today has been a rather successful day. There's been several noteworthy people that I have had the pleasure of meeting in a very short timespan in the Frankfurt system today.

    The aktivistin joined up with me a bit later during my patrol. She claims to have been part of the white rose, and as such I've got to talk to another experienced Aktivist with a similar view on things as us.

    I've bunched them up in a group because there was nothing worth of note to talk about. I've found them next to the MND Kapitän and the Kruger miner but by the time I arrived, they had already finished what they were presumably doing there and they left relatively quickly.

    Similar to the two Unioners, the Kruger Pilots have not actually talked alot. I presume they've been busy, which should explain how one drew the conclusion that I have stolen some of the ore that they had worked for. Naturally, I would never do that and I later showed them my innocence which they seemed to believe. More to be found in the attached logs.

    At first, I wasn't expecting much. As the logs will provide you with more information, I'll just say that I believe that talking to the Kapitän abroad this ship made my trip today worth it. They seem to be more open to our ideas than I had initially anticipated.

    The pilot known as "Ego" and I had a positive conversation, as the pilot had approached me earlier and asked about Rheinland. We were talking about both Rheinland and the Bundschuh. Additionally, I got to learn several personal things about this person. They seem to be interested in looking for a purpose, other than being by themselves. Considering the situation in Rheinland, I offered them shelter at Bautzen. We might also find a use for this pilot in the future, as they seem to be looking for work.

I hope everyone has been holding on well,

yesterday I've been dispatched alongside Aktivist Ohnesorg to fend off a fleet of Corsairs in the Frankfurt system. What seemed to be impossible initially has eventually been solved through a a tiresome war of attrition between the rag-tag group consisting of the two Aktivists, a few Militär personel, as well as one or more Freelancers that were present at the time, one of which should be familiar to the movement as he's been alongside us prior to this - Ego.
Not only was there a Corsair fleet that we've had to deal with though, but the Unioners also started to openly engage both me and Aktivist Ohnesorg and were then destroyed in retaliation. When given the chance to come to their senes and attack the Corsair forces instead of what should be their fellow Rheinlanders, it became obviously that they had no desire to do such a thing. Mission log will be attached.

It was not possible for me to speak about past happenings because, as some of you know, we had arranged a meeting with the Technocracy of Auxo yesterday.

The news regarding the frightening encounter in Frankfurt is anything but pleasant. The Unioners have been neutral, almost friendly towards us recently, this clash will probably put an end to the neutrality that has been in place until now.

It was foolish of us to neglect the relationship between the Unioners and the Corsairs. The sheer power and size of the Corsairs makes them an attractive trading and combat partner for the Alster Union. It is clear, of course, that the profitability of this pact is skewed in favor of the Corsairs. However, I find it hard to believe the Unioners would be unaware of their more tenuous position.

I will establish contact with the representatives of the Alster Union and clarify this situation as best as possible. The Unioner movement was legitimate from the day it was founded, we stand in solidarity with all workers whose rights are being trampled on by the masters ruling over capital.

Perhaps this group will find its way back to its roots, as we are trying to do.

I hope for your endorsement, brothers, and sisters.

As for the Technocracy of Auxo. I will submit the conclusion of our agreement as soon as it has been reached. I am still in contact with Navarch Valentine while discussing the matter with all of you. Await my report.
