History

Mustang Technologies started its fledgling life on Invictus Station, Alabama shipyard. Occasionally assisting APM with basic operations and projects such as Project Copiam. Founded by John B Garcia, Mustang Technologies went dormant during his tenure with Renzu, Interspace Commerce where he expanded his knowledge of station, ship and space security services. Being educated from the UoC his knowledge and network enabled him to earn vast fortunes whilst raising up the ranks within APM and Renzu.

John has spent many years travelling the house systems flying his loyal bison and on occasion, the IC|Delaware one particularly persistent pirate forced his crew to take a detour through the independent system of Ontario. In need of repairs, his ship was serviced by the local Junkers and he set about his way. The new reformed board of Mustang Technologies staked out Ontario as the most suitable system for large-scale expansion as the other systems in/adjacent to Liberty were either heavily saturated by larger corporations or entirely baren of resources.

Using their current wealth and personal connections this private enterprise plans to set sail on a new venture, hoping that not being tied to house diplomacy rules will give them the competitive edge in the system.

Mustang Technologies understands that the Junker population will be critical to their success and as such have a clear focus when it comes to cooperation.

Interspace Commerce

As it stands John B Garcia is an ex-employee and previous business partner of Interspace commerce and is leaning (potentially too) heavily on that old relationship. This is likely to develop as Mustang Technologies begins to expand and interact as a business and not as an individual.

The Core - APM

Having been assistant CEO to APM, Mustang Technologies are once again relying on a person-to-person relationship. It is expected that APM and Mustang Technologies would be capable of working together again but this is yet to be seen.

Bretonian Armed Force and Corporations

Unlike the previous personal relationships, the general positive position towards Bretonia is felt across the entirety of the company, with many employees hailing from there. John B Garcia has sold commodities to BAF, BPA many Bretonian corporations and even the BIS. Being close to Magellan and Manchester Mustang Technologies plans to utilize the Bretonian marketplace alongside business in Liberty.

Having been focused on one particular sector of space for quite some time and being affiliated with freelancers and private industry MT is yet to build a relationship with many necessary and important factions.

Order

Mustang Technologies has spent most of its existence trying to develop weapons against the Order or advanced mining technologies to help APM get a competitive edge in the Omicrons. It's safe to say The Order will have a natural disliking of MT and future interactions will determine how far this rivalry will go.

Criminals

Being an enterprise that operates mostly in the light, Mustang Technologies is generally cautious of most criminals at first. Understanding that there is profit to be made in the criminal underworld Mustang Technologies is keen to make deals and pay for protection. Ultimately the company expects to build long-lasting fruitful relationships with local criminals where possible but understands that this will come with time and a price tag.

There's nothing more distasteful than a man "above" corruption, terrorists and freedom fighters tend to find themselves on this list and will need to work to get off it. If you have a creed that can't be bought then the pilots of Mustang fear meeting you.

Nomads

The chance of a nomad encounter in Ontario is slim to none but knowing how many credits can be earned by carving them up from their time in the Omicrons makes them keen to take advantage when possible.

Mustang Technologies splits its workforce into three main divisions:

Mustang Security and Protection
Mustang Logistics and Transportation

Mustang Logistics

Mustang Logistics is what makes up the bulk of Mustang Technologies' workforce. This division handles the hauling and handling of goods, minerals, and contracts.

Mustang Security Forces

Mustang Security Forces are the home defence of the company's assets as well as the main protection of transports and convoys. Mustang Technologies also offers security services to their clientele.

• The "Eagle" Civilian Very Heavy Fighter
• The "Roc" Civilian Bomber
• The "Condor" Civilian Gunboat
• The Borderworld Snubline

Mustang Research and Development

Mustang Research and Development is the primary department of which the other two exist to support. Mustang Technologies is dedicated to the expansion and development of the corporation on the whole. Currently developing new ships and scanner systems.
