Puerto del Sol is a Corsair defence fortress originally constructed by Centinelas del Cielo in year 818 A.S. Being located in vicinity of Omega-41 jumphole, its main function was repelling enemies such as Red Hessians and Coalition from entering Omicron Gamma system. Some years later, it was relocated to the orbit of Crete's moon, Kalhmera. It got repurposed into a storage facility for Xeno Relics and other cargo such as valuable equipment, still with plenty of defences to spare.
Puerto del Sol had several administration team changes from multiple Corsair groups after Centinelas del Cielo, with Brotherhood being the latest one.
However, recently, its role has proven to be inefficient due to many factors, so Puerto del Sol is in the process of being repurposed once again. After a loss of Skiros Station, as well as two biodomes on Freeport 9, this installation, originally known as the impenetrable defence fortress is being transformed into a multipurpose platform for growing new biodomes and many other things, such as salvaging stolen equipment and their remains.
