What I'm talking about is the legal code in effect in the various systems of Sirius, most importantly the House systems. Is there any place where the official laws applicable in different systems may be seen? Or is there even any such thing as official legal code? If not then maybe the law-enforcing factions could try to put something together and get it pinned so that new players such as myself:)will know how to behave lawfully. Because, it's really up to them what laws they decide to enforce, they are the police.

I agree, and a full list of all items, which ones are contraband (besides the obvious drugs and fake stuff) and to see were you are allowd to do what in certain systems.

This was actually just discussed earlier today. I agree that we need to have a compilation of all of the laws for the houses in Sirius. For right now, you can check for separate laws in each house in the status faction thread.
Look for the Southern Alliance, Rheinland Military, Kusari Naval Forces, and Sirius Federation. These are the owning factions of Liberty, Rheinland, Kusari and Bretonia, respectively.

Official legal code is determined by each faction individually, which is why it is best, for the time being, to search for the rules in the posts mentioned above.

Hope this helps.

Well, they say "ignorance of the law is no excuse" so, I think it's not a bad idea to have a 'code of conduct' within RP that represents all the houses seperately.

(For example: back in the day, I saw a flyer on a phone pole, & thats how I learned that I could go to Amsterdam to do legaly what could get me thrown in prison here in the states)

Rheinland Law:

It doesn't actually surprise me that Rheinlanders are the only ones that have submitted their laws so far. Nice organization. It would be nice to see every other house do the same.

@Hyperwave22 If you're thinking the same thread as I am, people are still discussing a lot of irrelevant stuff there:wacko:which is pretty much the reason why I posted a separate topic.

@DBoy Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for! Based on these rules, does anyone know how are escaped smugglers treated in Rheinland? I mean, if you run away from a patrol that wants to scan you or otherwise ignore the Rheinlandians:Ddo you get put on their KoS list? Because that plus the once-only rule sounds pretty harsh and I'm not sure if it is quite in agreement with the trader ID conventions. (The ones that say you can't attack a smuggler if he drops his cargo. Or am I mistaken?)

However I am most interested in seeing something similar ^^ put up by LSF or Liberty Navy, or even better see both of them work on it together.

I believe that the RM laws are not quite full yet. You can still be prosecuted in Rheinland for insulting military officers or disrespecting the Chancellor.

You mean German laws, Praetyre:P

By RM laws, I meant the ones listed on the website. Technically, they'd be Rheinland laws or Reichstag laws, but hey, the RM enforces them all the same.
