The number as it appears in the "shop" menu.

Type /shop and the first number listed on the far left is the "item number."

Player Base Guide - Daedric - 09-17-2012

When you type /shop a window will appear that has at the bottom of it a list of the commodities and equipment on your base. The list should look something similar to this:

01 Silver 1 100000 100000
02 Gold 2 100000 100000
03 Iron 1 100 100

The first number (01, 02, 03, etc) is the item's inventory number. Then you have the commodity or equipment's name. The next number is the price that the item will buy AND sell for. The next number is the minimum stock you want the base to retain; the following number is the maximum stock you want it to allow.

If you want to set the price of Silver to 100 credits with a min stock of 10 and a max stock of 100 you would use the following command

/shop price 01 100 10 100

01 being Silver's inventory number, 100 being the price, 10 being the min stock and 100 being the max stock.

Keep in mind this is just a general example.

Regarding the Type-2 and -3 Defense modules, does the base need to be at Core-level 4 in order to construct these? I'm building a base on another server (currently at Core-3), and I get an error message saying "Module Type not available". Its running the same version of Discovery but has some FL-hook changes. I've left a message to the server-admin there regarding this as well. In the meantime I'm building an Array-1 module and will be happy to record a video-walkthrough of the Defense-Platform placement to supply for this guide.:)

That was an old error that has been fixed, the Type 2 and Type 3 should be available now in the newest version of Discovery. (They are available on the Discovery 24/7 server)
To clarify all three should be buildable at any core level as-long as you have a slot free to build them in.

Greetings.

How much money can actually be stored on a base?

I remember cannon saying that one could put "a lot" more on a base than on a char, but i'd like to know what's the maximum. Is there any information about that around?

Regards,
Talesin

So far as I know, you can store an infinite amount of money on one. I wouldn't recommend it though, seeing as storing 20 billion credits on a single station would draw griefers like flies.

Well said.

Now that the forums are back, I'd like to submit my Video Tutorial for Base Defense Platform placement.

Feel free to add it to the relevant post.

RE: Player Base Guide - Govedo13 - 11-08-2012

Is the defence mode information actual or not?
What abut base IFFs? Can I make the base guns hostile to all that are not on the base operators list?
