32K-Des (Kore Series) - DeKore - 02-18-2013
Hello everyone!
I'm new to forum but not new to this game and mod. Anyways as the server was down for some time I decided to design my own spaceship suitable for this game. As I'm capable of making 3D, UV's, and textures (I'm not the best).
My spaceship is called 32K-Des. It is a destroyer built on a reliable 32K chassis (Engines, spine). It has a rather lightweight armor but powerful engine that makes it quite fast and maneuverable. It can mount up to 12 light weapons that are usefull against weaker and faster targets. But it has an inbuilt main gun that is powerful enough to severely damage bigger ship. Or at least in the concept it should be like that.

Looks sexy, apart from the very large engines (would look pretty boring in the default flying perspective). What ship class is this supposed to be? And for what faction?

LoL Thx! and well yes the engines are kinda big and well boring because of lack of details.
It is supposed to be a destroyer and faction... well I'm not sure to be honest. Possible for my own faction.

It's not bad but you can't have a ship for your own faction It's either a pirate one, zoner one, house military or civilian (but afaik civilian class doesn't have a ship bigger than gunboat). And also if you submit it the balancing team takes care of all details like power core, armor etc
EDIT: Unless you are in CR, HF or SCRA
Also if you ask me this might work as a replacement for the current gallic cruiser... Kinda reminds me of Valor...

Those boxes under the hull plates do make it look like a transport, kinda looks like something from Stargate or perhaps the Halo universe.
I don't suppose you'd be willing to modify it to a fully fledged transport?

I know I can't have a ship for my own faction xD but when I originaly came up with this design I used my vision how ships for my own faction could look a like.

Looking at it again (my god, that website made my computer lag hard), I agree with Oth. The main body of it (front) looks like numerous cargo pods covered by two slabs of armor. That would also explain why it needs those gargantuan engines.
It could probably be used as another 4-5k transport. Or, if you scale the model down, perhaps as a new 3-3.5k. Wouldn't mind seeing another one of those.
