I wanted to let you know that Altegra sent a negotiator to speak with me. A bit of an odd approach, but I think it was fruitful. I'm not sure what happened to set this whole thing off. They have indeed been behaving very badly, but I'm not sure they were treated all that well either. I truly wish this had been brought to my attention sooner. At any rate, we negotiated a deal where they will cease hostilities and we have agreed to cancel all bounties. This nonsense is just bad for business all around. It is my hope that these two can be brought back into the fold so they can share in our great profit making enterprises. I know some of your people may be a bit reluctant to do this as are some of mine, but I think we will both find this to be very good for business in the long run.

Ahoy Jack,

Well, that's good news indeed. Thanks for lettin' me know. Whatsoever, I've already locked their access codes to our bases - for the ships who commit the crime that is. After all, they've showed us no insight in stopping the insanity. However, I agree that we can give them a second chance by showing their loyality. Though, their ship transponders are blacklisted by now and they'll likely have to get themselves new vessels along with new ship transponders in case they like to make use of our stations again. Unfortunately the word has already spread around and it'd be a hard one to reverse the call. Besides I yet don't feel like putting any effort into it, before they haven't proved to be friendly. We shall see how it evolves. If they'll behave nicely, I don't see a reason why to harass them any further.

I completely understand and I would never presume to tell you how to deal with your own people. I am hopeful that these individuals will want to work with us again, but if not I will leave you to do what must me done.
