Freelancer is nearly as expensive to buy now than it was when it was first being sold.
Seems like it's moving out of the bargain bin and into the collectors cupboard.

Yeah, it's about that time it moved on to that phase. You'll be seeing unopened copies going for like 200$ on ebay before you know it.

I found mine on internet after 3 months.
I downloaded it via uTorrent.I think it was ( if you use Torrent ) Champ used double team! *snip* or specifically, Nope, keep those sort of links off the forums please - Summer
You'll also need something like Daemon Tools Lite or something like that to mount it as an ISO image.
Thats how I did it unless you want to pay...

Ermm.... we don't post links to places where you can get *cough* Free Software.
I made a image of my copy of Freelancer so if I need to re-install I just mount the image and it's done in a few minutes.

Yes, you can torrent it...but why would you? It's a game that's definitely worth the money, pays for itself in days and becomes a collectors eventually. I have the Xplosiv case version

It sure is, but why should I pay that money to some random dude or chick who happened to buy this game many years ago? No cent will reach its creators. And even if you happen to find a new box from a shop, all the money goes to Microsoft and the shop of course.
