Hi, was wondering whether I can set up a list of resolutions to use in FL so I can change them while playing, for example, I'm playing on 1920x1080 monitor but want to switch to 1024x768 so I can play windowed while trading and reading forums/etc.
But I might want to switch back if I come into contact with a pirate, or decide to play as a combat char for a bit.
Current method I'm using is by using two shortcuts, one with -dx option, the other with -w option with no -dx, but I have to dock, exit FL and restart and it's a pain.
And if I come into contact with a LF or VHF pirate I might have to try and escape if I'm close enough to a base so I have to Alt+Enter and put up with rubbish stretched resolution.
I'm thinking there must be a config file somewhere with a list of resolutions so I can add to it...
Also it would be pretty cool if I could set up keyboard shortcuts to change multiple options at once without going into menus. e.g. press Alt+1(or whatever) to switch to 1920x1080 fullscreen or Alt+2 to switch to windowed 800x600. But I think that might be asking a bit much (still, it would be an awesome feature).
I miss my dual monitor set up , my other monitor decided to retire a few months ago unfortunately.
There's always the ingame resolution changer you can use while on the main menu that prohibits large resolutions, other than that I'm afraid there's squat.
Unless some techy wants to come prove me wrong, I think you'll have to deal like the rest of us unfortunately.
For most it's not an issue simply because of having characters on different accounts. I have all my factions on different accounts, some have 4-5 accounts because I have too many ships.
