I'm sorry to be calling you so soon. I honestly didn't expect I'd have to take you up on that offer you made for a long time yet, but I suppose that's how things work. Anyway, I hope you're alright. Some of the guys out on patrol told me they saw a few more ALG ships heading to Augsburg, so that can only be a good thing if you're still working on repairs out there. It's a big job, but I'm sure we'll get there eventually.
In fact, that's sort-of what I'm messaging you about. The Military has been causing some trouble for us lately. I mean, that by itself isn't that out of the ordinary. You get used to being shot at by most anyone in green when you flash Widerstand transponders, but this is coming at a really bad time. I'm struggling just to keep the few transports we can spare flying to Augsburg without dealing with battle-damaged patrols as well.
I think some of the issue might be the Military's weapons. Our shields were working well enough until recently, but I think they might have altered primary frequencies, so it's causing a delay while our systems burn more energy adapting. Long story slightly less long, our fighters are at a bit of a disadvantage until I can figure out what's going on here.
That's where you come in. You see, I think I could piece together what they're doing from the few wrecks we're able to generate in those skirmishes, but our fighters just can't risk hanging around afterwards to collect the leftovers. An ALG ship, on the other hand, could collect military salvage without anyone so much as batting an eyebrow, and if it went to the Junkers on Kreuzberg, hey, that's not too unusual, right? Scrap's what Junkers do.
Anyway, I'd be able to pick it up there and help our guys out, which means more time to keep those transports flying, which means Augsburg gets what it needs a little sooner. We can pay you, of course. Probably not as much as the military could, but it'll cover your fuel. I know this is a big thing, so please don't think I'm trying to pressure you into it just because of something you said once. It's your choice, and if you can't help, I'll find some other way to do what we need to.
That said, if you somehow could help, it would be a weight off my shoulders.
Thanks, and chin up, okay?

As far as I understand, which I'm not claiming to be an awful lot here, I'm fairly new to Rheinland, ALG ships are called in frequently to clean up damaged ships and salvage. Essentially ,what would be a great help to me, would be if you could see to it that any military technology you were commissioned to dispose of could instead make its way to some of our people at Kreuzberg so we can make sure our defences are kept up-to-date, and keep the freighters heading out to Augsburg (relatively) safe.
That'd be it, really. Just a slightly longer return trip then normal.
