Bonjour respected Elders,
you may have been warned of this communication, apologies for the slight delay the distances between our respective nations are wide.
IDF have occasionally supplied essential foodstuffs to Planet Crete ever since one of our Captains responded to an emergency supply call from Trueno Benitez over three years ago.
Obviously the Gallic front keeps us busy but in periods of less stress we have still endeavoured to give essential supplies, not totally altruistically because a strong Corsair nation occupies Outcasts who otherwise would be bothering our flanks.
On a recent visit we found the Benitez family were not prominent but we did meet pilots with TBH insignia. These pilots Senor De la Guerra, Senor Lopez and Senor Rodriguez were gracious enough to the food supplies to be delivered and suitable exports to be loaded.
They did however instruct us it was wise to contact the Elders in order to ascertain if the previous arrangement of food supplying, albeit sporadic, would still be acceptable. We are thus requesting the Elders to allow IDF vessels to bring aid to Crete.
I'm so pleased with opportunity to deal with someone of your... charm. Please understand my confusion, as we usually deal with hard working people, toughened by years of radiation exposure.
Back to the subject. *tries harder not to stare*
*stares anyway*
Yes, it's true we have this food shortages. It's not entirely about us not being able to grow or steal food. It's more about us failing in birth control. Our people are very capable, in a sexual way. Look at my wife and me, for example. My Senora got pregnant by simple receiving my letters, while I was in far Omegas. At least, she says so. There are many cases like that at Crete. *feels proud*
So, I'll be glad to grant docking rights to IDF ships. I'll enter IDF code to Crete ring personally, just send me the list of goods you would like to deliver. I strongly recommend your traders never forget buying our finest Artifacts for their return route, for mere 538 credits per crate. *showing samples of Artifacts* Empty transports leaving Crete were always subject of questioning, or even further investigations, Senorita Chatel.
And... just to mention... this distance between you and me... ahmmm... us. Is there really nothing we can do about?
*Pepe nods and reaches OFF button with his hairy macho hand*
Bonjour Monsieur Ladron,
thank you for your affirmative response to our communication.
We are an honest shipping company and the first communication intimated the nature of our supplies to your nation. At present IDF| ships should only be supplying food, they will of course be pleased to export whichever goods serve your nation best. If you encounter any of our fleet breaking this agreement please feel free to deal with as appropriate. We would never suggest your course of action in these circumstances but would hope confiscation of goods and a official communication regarding monetary recompense would be the chosen path. This would ease the cost of maintaining our viable fleet.
I am flattered by your other kind words but as you can see the distance is large. Although I am a career girl so if by any chance I am in your vicinity I would be honoured to partake in your company.
