I like Enclave. (Some could say even more than CR)
Because it takes the already antoganist nature of Gallia, amplifies it tenfold, adds opportunistic, extremely cutthroat military politics and nobility, adds CR-esque struggles to survive and adds the coolest shipline to boot.
I love the people in it, everyone's so chill. We frequently debate about various issues, can come to blows, but we all walk it off feeling even more intellectually stimulated afterwards.
I thoroughly enjoy the whole Samurai and Shogunate aspect we roll with, I'm a massive fan of Ancient and Classical Era history, so that's my gig.
They're pirates, but not. It's one thing to be a raving frothing at the mouth pirate, it's another to be someone of refinement, have core values (Bushido) and have to translate that into RP.
My character started as a nobody, someone from outside of the Dragons, overtime I've been able to RP out their journey into becoming a true Dragon.
Have a couple of decent smuggling routes.
Loads of untapped RP opportunities just waiting to be siezed.

When contending with a monster, you'd be wise to give the devil his due.

LG| Loyola Group is great because it's a serious attempt to take on a concept that should have been explored long ago - Hispanian factions having corporations. I tried to explore this first with the CL}- Contari Lance, and then later with the NC- National Council, the idea of Maltese life having civilians and stuff. All the media says is piracy, cardi smuggling, slavery - I just want to be a realistic Edge Worlds society for gods sake! LG| is filled with wonderful people who genuinely like playing the game, have great senses of humor, and that's all on top of the wonderfully unique and fresh roleplay opportunities it offers.
[MKR] Marinestreitkräfte is filled with good people and playing a military faction isn't something I've seriously done before. The closest I've come to such was playing NC- and a brief stint running the Civil Space Patrol, which ended up being a short-lived joke faction anyway.
