Quite a day we just had in Thuringia and Sigma-15. What did we witness there with the Kolleda and why are those Technocrats afraid of those sentinel creatures ? I would appreciate some more info about this mess I saw if I could call it a mess.
"Félice, you have the right to ask these questions... At this point you've taken fire from things I've yet to tell you about and it's my responsibility to recognise that you have have stepped in our trench because of your will to stand with us. But before I do, I can only tell you so much before you must accept this is a frontier that will never leave you...
"The sentinels... At this point in Sirius, we are almost running out of fingers to count the different sentient space faring species on our hands. Some even deviations of our own race, and actions but most completely separate and nothing we have ever seen before... Humanity as unfortunately come to war with every one of them at some point. The sentinels though, they have been foretold as an enemy before their arrival, and it's already having drastic results across Sirius... An enemy who's weapon against all sentient life is memetic in nature and lethal to those who attain first hand knowledge of them.
I can't tell you much more than where we stand, the Damnatio Memoriae,as we try to prepare Sirius for the reality that we are not alone. And our way of life, house and capitalist greed is incompatible if we are to continue in this evolving universe.
But I won't speak another whisper until you know we are bound by oath to this secret front, and you must do the same and never look back... if you wish to know more.

Perseverance in desperation
To be honest with you, CS, I am scared. During our battle in Thuringia, seeing the aliens and their thralls was horrific, the sheer size of them. It didn't help seeing them shred that Rhineland Behemoth. But the worst part is I can still feel those two that caught me in the fifteen. Their anger is still palpable, so much that it appears in my dreams, those order ships and similar ones hunting and killing their kin...
If I am to ever push on through this and continue with my life, I must know, even if it kills me. Better that than to live shrouded in constant fear count me in.
"Very well then, I'll accept your request for intelligence on the matter, but please don't come to me regretting your decision.
"If it's one thing to know, most of the Damnatio Memoriae are invested here in Thuringia. We call it our home for all it's worth since we've shed blood in this system for a republic that was full of it's own faults, although most of us never got to taste that life outside this system. We are still gathering intelligence and reports regarding these alien species that doesn't involve immediately dissecting them and exploiting their bodies for resources like cattle... Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable dropping to the same low.
"While myths and reports of alien sightings come from all over Sirius, none have had a greater tale than those who have shared a history here in Rheinland. These... Nomads have left their scars throughout many of my people, while initially awe-stopping to first timers to encounter a gestalt consciousness, it usually resulted in some sort of violence or bodily takeover by these aliens. But they were only an introduction to the many species of Sirius that were here before humanity... Although over time I keep looking back on my involvement as a prolonged reactionary conflict, I've also just learnt that it seems both sides were engaged with incomplete intelligence on eachother. I have some reason to believe it was pure panic on both sides that initially caused first-contact to go horrifically wrong and the consequences of that have been 30 years of secret bloodshed, it's wake has crafted broken people and disturbed aliens addicted to constant war with no option or even belief of relief. What concerns me the most is that we have rounded the entire species under the label of an enemy, but I have recently come into evidence that they are otherwise divided into their own separate hive minds with different ideals and desires. Although I still highly advise you minimise contact with them and don't provoke them especially in any Order constructed vessel as the group are infamous among being the first to almost wipe the Nomads from Sirius entirely; defend yourself if engaged and report any interaction as soon as possible. We still find it incredibly difficult to differentiate between different Nomad hives, so their behaviour will vary.
"The sentinels... We don't know much other than their intent to wipe us all out, I can't say my attention grabbing technique on those two nomads within the sigmas will keep you covered if you were ever encounter the sentinels. So the question always returns, how do we live against them? That's the question the DM has been asking.... How do we live, and I mean, truly live and thrive in this universe when we know we are not longer alone? And if anything were to stand on Humanity 's history with alien species, we have shown we are not exactly desirable neighbours ourselves. But considering the environment I wouldn't shy away from at least being prepared if another species has the worst intentions for us, so I say someone has to stand against it.
"So... You're probably asking where I stand on this? Truthfully, I don't know. My job is to find out as much information as accurately as I can while trying to protect the Platform from potential threats... But I also see an endless suffering if attitudes aren't going to change, nor am I hoping humanity gets labeled as the universe's greatest threat.."
