Bonjour Captain,
First of all, you'll apologize the delay of the answer but as your message was adressed to "whoeverthismayadress", it got lost and finally arrived at me.
Council primary fleet leader, General Du Lac has to deal with lots of things, i'm not sure he got your message as it was not adressed to him, i suggest you contact him once again though i'll transmitt your comm. Luckily, you could meet him today, as some Unione Corse representatives
I had the report of your visit from Captain Marcus and Laslandes, i was spoken about a friendly visit in Champagne, i was told you were a very sympathic captain.
About Council and ORI official relationship status, only General Du Lac can answer to you, i can't decide of that.
Basically, as long as your intentions are peacefull and you're willing to respect our customs and our allies, i have no reason to be hostile to you.
About a future diplomatic meeting, I can't answer in the name of Council, you have to ask this to General Du Lac. I will just point some important facts :
_The opening was a first step for us, now we try to reach sirians with peacefull intentions, and try to have the trust of whoever among the four houses - or let's say in Sirius - shares our values or is just ready to listens to us .
This means that your behavior directly influences our diplomacy with you, If the ORI are to be involved in many conflicts across sirius against several nations or just non criminal entities, it will be difficult for us to see you as an allie for it would isolate us.
_As zoners or ex-zoners, you can't ignore that Council has granted zoners the free access to any of its base.
Since the opening of Gallia, Zoners have given us all kind of support one could hope and even more.
They became at least friends and fore some of them like brothers.
Among us in GAUL, harming a zoner, not only omicroners, is like harming us. We owe them too much to ignore their problems.
The conflict you currently have with omicroners makes difficult for us to be wide open to you for it would lower the mutual trust we have in one another
As a consequence, i will wait for the clarification of your situation with Zoners before giving you any answer about our future relationship. I'm sorry.
Once again, this is just GAUL position Captain Valek.

Salut M'sieur, I am General du Lac's adjutant, Victor Cezanne. He has tasked me with trying to find out a little more about your organisation ~ as we know precious little about your motives and methods, please reply with a brief description.
Once you have supplied the relevant information, and we find it satisfactory, ORI trading and escorting vessels, Gunboat class or smaller, will be permitted access to our trading stations on Marne and Quillan for now. Larger 'capital' class ORI vessels will be asked to leave, or forcibly removed if necessary.
There is to be no use of Council weapons systems aboard ORI vessels
I will also pass on a warning the General himself presented to one of your vessels, in the past, A zoner group was made an enemy of the Crown, their vessels marked for destruction if found in Gallia. I recommend you avoid any the Crowns forces entirely.
I trust you will find this provisional agreement satisfactory.
